This is the 2nd Chapter of the Heartstone Saga. With the Goblins defeated the town of Heartridge now turns their attention to the undead in the cemetary and the recent activity of Shadowblades in the East.
Included in the zip file are some notes for a DM if there happens to be one. If you are a player you may not want to read it for it contains some spoilers. .

Good fun in classic PnP style. MUCH improved from the first installment in this series! _________________________ World of Abred Forums: Link
"'Don't you want to join us?' I was recently asked by an acquaintance when he ran across me alone after midnight in a coffeehouse that was already almost deserted. 'No, I don't," I said. - Kafka
Better than Part I. Be warned this module requiers having very high search skills, for being full of secret doors and all, not that easy to find, but leading to interesting areas. _________________________ @ + jml, level 52

Very, very tough for my struggling Monk. I never would have survived at all had I not resorted to DM tweaks.
I killed Malthor but could not find his head anywhere. I believe I needed his head to finish that quest.
Also, I would NEVER have finished the other quest at the crypts because several of the foes were invulnerable to any of my weapons. I managed to stumble across a crossbow with +5 and killed the boss for the ring. Oh, all the while pumping furiously my healing via DM-mode. What made the chapter rather entertaining was whether I could make it through using at all, even using DM mode. Since there was no Melthor head I am bailing out on the chapter and will see if chapter 3 will let me use the same character. Monk, level 8.
Oh oh.... look.... it says "unable to load the mod" due to incorrect talk table. I feel a sense of relief, actually.

updated a few waypoint positions and little stuff.
No problems so far at all, enjoying it all, maybe I pay too much attention to just having fun, and not trying to analyse code. Playing a paladin.
Blessings. _________________________ Evil meet thy end, right here, right now.

Finished as a 9th lvl clr. Would be possible to replay but only with a fighter/rgr/rg/Barb class. It is in HCR and having points on heal will be important.
Again pretty basic may well have helped myself too much by being able to buy the Offhand Axe ie +3, +1d6 sonic dam and 2w fighting. Although upto the end of part 1 it was 1 of 3? +1 enhanced/attack weapons, no ranged weapons.
A ranger may be possible although no +1 or better leather armour until part 2. Minor spoiler Choose goblin and undead.
Craft Trap and set trap will be of use especially if you have very good stealth skills.
Anyway if the Heartsone Saga continues will deserve more votes and a higher rating.
Thank you for your time.

Also noticed that turn undead and spells that are available sometimes just become zero/blank. Not sure when this happens but I can assure you it does. Also creatures whom you do no not loot very quickly, will just disappear. First whatever they are carrying and then the body itself.

Started playing this with my 5th very quickly 6th lvl clr. Spells seems to be lasting longer in part 1 disappearing very quickly.
Any sharpshdow camp. Picked up xp for boss. In convo with capt something like "received additional info from an interrogated prisoner". Didn't find any prisoner. Hidden camp. Melthoi (impossible) would not talk nothing and was neutral. Fought him by attacking him. He fought back unarmed strike/power attack? was not carrying weapons and killed him 3250xp!!!
You'll have to check that out
