"Fear Death? To feel the fog in my throat, the mist in my face"
- Robert Browning "Prospice"

Update Log:
4th Feb, 2011: Uploaded the Forlorn module, containing dozens of area and new creatures. This is not final by any means, but fully playable. The project ran out of steam, and as it is time to move on, I would rather put it all up here in case others ever find it useful. So long nwn community - it has been a blast :)
6th Dec, 2010: Uploaded the new beginnings of 'Rats in the Walls'. While I have been looking to make this the new low level module for my work, right now it is serving as a demonstration module. The Users Guide (in the haks section) has been updated with demo notes regarding this module. Uploaded RLC001 hak and module.
27th Feb, 2010: Updated RLC001 to address issue with codi hak. It should load fine now. Also included is the rlc_mod_01 hak required.

And welcome again to the Mists, Domains of Dread, Cursed Dark Lords, and the Creatures of the Night. These modules are intended for use with the RLCore systems found here:
Link
An explanation of the status of these systems and modules will also be explained at the above link. Basically, I have been prompted to release as is as more people want to have a look, and as I am no longer working in nwn, would rather not have it all rot on my hard drive :)
The concept, apart from a creation of the systems to properly create a Ravenloft campaign as I think it can be done, has been to build a persistent module series, where PC's step back and forward from one module to the other. It is working in testing, but not yet implemented here.
More on this on the haks page.
It also allows for players to download the latest version of a module, and continue where they left of player without using save games - simply start the module again with the latest export of your character and the system databases will set everything (quests, location etc) as you left off.
For now, this is how these modules stand in their beta stages.
Please understand that these modules are still beta, and placed here for distribution purposes only to allow access to a growing number of interested testers and developers. This does not mean they will not be fun to have a run through, just that there will be bugs (of which some I am aware about).
Anyone is welcome to use any of this content how they see fit, if at all
Cheers and so long!

RLC001: THE RATS IN THE WALLS (Beta v0.15)
****************************
"And yet bubbles o'er like a city, with gossip, scandal, and spite..."
(Alfred, Lord Tennyson, 'Maud' Part 1)
Mortigny, the smallest of the 3 cities in the domain of Richemulot, has one thing in particular in common with its larger neighbours - rats. The Richemuloise drift asleep each night to the sounds of this writhering horde, inescapably dwelling on the dread secrets that lie buried within these ancient streets...
CURRENTLY A DEMO MODULE ONLY!!!!
Credits for adventures used found in the module description.

RLC002: EVE OF SORROWS
****************************
"He lacks the time to mourn, lacks the time to mend. Eternity mourns that. 'Tis an ill cure for life's worst ills, to have no time to feel them...." (Sir Henry Taylor "Philip Van Artevelde")
The domain of Forlorn, including north western Hazlan (Forfarmax and the Broken Forest).
While it is not completed, this still has dozens of areas of haunted forest to explore (hack and slash style), and the start of the mysterious castle that shifts through time. Goblyns, Odems, Dread Treants, Wolfweres, Lycans of all shapes and sizes, Weird little Baobhan Sith, Level Draining Barrow Wights and other undead nasties - get into em :)
Requires a number of additional haks:
Sen's Seasonal Workshop - Tilesets based onto WoRm's Seasonal Forest (

One final point to make: When you first enter one of the RLC modules, you will be stripped of XP and items if you have any. This is for a reason, as all armor and weapons items in the game in particular need special properties set on them. It may be very easy to avoid this happening and cheat if you like, but you will run risk of the game breaking at points. Up to you :)
Last updated 4th Feb, 2011. A work in progress that ran out of steam, this has dozens of area to explore, from the Hamlet of Forfarmax (where you can pick up spell components, muskets, and the like), to the twisted Broken Forest of Hazlan (east of Forfarmax), to the haunted domain of Forlorn (north of Forfarmax). People may find it interesting or of use, and I would rather that then see it lost. Thanks nwn community - it has been fun :)
Last updated 6th Dec, 2010. Currently a demonstration module only, with notes of demo found in the users guide (download with the haks). 'Rats in the Walls' has replaced the old (obsolete) 'Little Things' module
Oops. Forgot to include module hak when I recompiled the module and uploaded it yesterday. Included again now :) _________________________ *************************************************
There was an issue with naming of the codi hak that has been resolved to the best of my knowledge. Thanks to those who let me know about this.
Cheers! _________________________ *************************************************
