This was a submission for the Good Old Games contest of the same name (specific details available in the forum link).
This module was created to tell the story of the DRM Monster and the Treasure of GOG. How these two are tied together is left for the player to discover as they are thrust into a race to save their kingdom and the world as they know it!
Some important design considerations resulting from the rules of the contest:
-The module should take no longer than 20 minutes to finish (refer to the ReadMe if you get stuck), and will likely take much less depending on how much attention you pay to the details.
-There are only 10 enemies in the module
-There are only 3 NPCs in the module (1 you will see but be unable to interact with)
-There are only 3 areas (interior to exterior to interior)
Enjoy and comment, I'm curious to hear how it is received (in design, gameplay, and story)!

This was a fast paced fun short module. I really enjoyed your outstanding cutscenes, the set-up of the pre-generated PC, and the thought you put into what it took to defeat the enemy and area elements.
My only niggle (and it really is not a big thing) is my PC's daft question to GOG...I see the humour in it....but it still burned me to click that dialogue :P
Well done and thank you! I hope you produce more short modules.

Balduvard, thanks for putting this on the Vault for everybody to play. As others noted, great use of cutscenes, and I love it when I get a good description of nearly everything in the game when I right click.

Awesome cut-scenes, clever use of lighting. If you're interested on the 3 things (very, very pickey) pm me on the Bioboards. Otherwise Olivier has about summed it up.

Hey Balduvard, I played your module and it was a fun ride! I loved the pace and I'm totally overwhelmed by your skill with creating cool cutscenes. I was also impressed with your care in item and creature descriptions. The areas looked good and the puzzles were perfectly logical (I've got to admit I struggled a bit with the first one but that was more due to my own impatience not the design; it's one of these moments were immediately after consulting the walkthrough you slap your forehead and think: "Duh, I should have figured that out myself" :D). Very clever, and I especially liked the idea with the Boss battle. High level of polish, too. I've found no bugs or typos. The story was simple and left a lot to the player's imagination but I didn't really mind that and thought the conversations well executed, too. Congratulations and kudos for all of this!
