Before contacting you, he had sent his trusted scout, Amber, to investigate, but she has disappeared and has not been heard from in three days.
Hello all, and welcome. Yes, I have been working on Eye of the Beholder 2 for quite some time now. I have had so many requests for it after Eye 1 that I decided to go ahead and make the mod. At this point the mod is well over half done. But I�m in need of help.

Hello all, I have to apologize, I have had some people contact me asking me if the project is still being worked on because there have been no updates. Again, I�m sorry for the lack of info on the mod. The answer is Yes, I have been working all winter long on the mod. We only have one last level that needs completing. Mostly Detailing and Some scripting that Geoff has been working on. Geoff joined the team about a month ago and he�s scripted many of the larger more complex areas. And he�s done a great job. You all will be very happy with how many of the original puzzles are as close to accurate as possible to the original game.
I have uploaded two new Screenshots of the Crystal Wall and the new Crimson Tower. let me know what you all think. I personally really like how the walls look.
So, yes the project is still in full swing, I�m hoping to have the mod released sometime in early May. But I still have a lot of testing and balancing that�s needed. Beta testers are still needed.
I still need anyone who can Texture or a Texture Artist. If anyone is interested, please contact me right away, I don�t have a lot that needs done. Just some specific textures that are needed. Currently the main one is a Darkmoon Banner. I have one, but it�s in need of a texture overhaul.
I need someone who can make static models. For example, I also need someone who can retexture Doors. I will need 4 or 5 doors that match the original games doors.

BTW, what video card do you have? If you have an ATI Card, please disable Shinny Water. This is a known issue that causes the game to crash with ATI cards.
And yes, our previous mod EOB 1 does cause your pc to have a bigger load on the CPU.
Let me know about your pc, and when having issues with EOB 1 please post those issues in the original EOB 1 forum. I want to keep both mods separate.

I need to find out from you what version of the mod you are playing. I have not released Eye 2 to the public yet. Are you playing our older version of the mod for Eye 1?
Please let me know, I have a feeling you are maybe referencing Eye of the Beholder 1.

I have a lot more works that�s been done to the mod. We have almost finished up the Crimson Towers, and are currently working on the Azure Towers. I just finished up most of the Frost Giant level. I will post some screenshots of it later. It looks pretty good. All covered in Ice and snow. Hopefully when you step into that level it will make you feel cold. That�s the look and feel I�m going for. Trying to make each of the levels have their own personality.
I still need some volunteers for beta testing so anyone who wishes to help out please contact me.

Okay, I�m just about ready to have some people beta test the mod, I would like to get people signed up and registered on the site by this week and get the beta started by next week the latest. What I need is for those who are serious about doing the test and documenting any and all issues found. Please contact me through email requesting to be on the beta.
Give me a little background on your gaming background and if you played the original EOB. When you are chosen to beta test, you will then be given a web link to a site where we setup to track the mod and any issues with bugs or anything that comes up. This is an easy signup on the site.
We need to track issues like this rather than having people constantly emailing me with the issues. This way we can track it and show the progress on what�s been done to test it and resolve the bug found. And everyone else can see what bug was found to help elevate multiple reporting�s of the same issue.

Definitely interested in beta testing, if help is needed at any time. At least to work out any bugs that are hidden, finding typos, unresponsive placeables and the like.

See, this is why I need people who are good at grammar errors and picking up little errors like that.
Also, anyone good at making up char stories please let me know, I defiantly need some other people perspective on this. It gets pretty tough to sit around thinking up story content. So, we are looking to expand the current dialog and add more to it to expand the plot in the game. Anyone interested, please give a shout.

I was speaking about a typo('waterdeep') in conversation with Nadia in 6th screenshot(from the top) that you have given a title: "Temple Darkmoon - Friendly host?"
Hey guys, thanks for the support and stopping in. And yes, please put out the word. I know the NWN community has gotten much smaller over the years. I�m hoping we can get many people interested again. I do have a lot more screenshots of areas later in the mod. Silver tower level especially. All of the Silver Tower areas are completely finished and a pretty kewl area to play.
We nailed the scripting for the Mouth puzzles quest; this is the one where each of the several mouths requires a specific item before they will open the door. Also we got the lightning puzzle area finished too. This is the one where you have to follow the sequence in order to get through it or you get light up hard. I�ll try and get some of those screenies up so you guys can see them. Still lots of work to be down. Still need to script out the Azure and Crimson towers. I�m glad you guys stopped by, appreciate it.
I will be looking for some people to beta test the first part of the game. So let me know if you guys are interested.

One of my favorite all-time modules is EotB 1. To anyone who reads this, let's put this out there and let people know this is happening. Give this man all the support he can get! [I'd love to help but the most I could do is trying to find and locate bugs lol]
All I can say is HOLY*bleep*!!! Like millions of people, we are waiting for EOB2 by Rick Dark for a long time. I wish the best for Rick in this new endeavour.
