Description

This is a module created for the Feb 2013 Adventure Building Challenge.

A Rare Vintage (ARV) is a short module for a single player of very low level. It is designed for first level characters, but difficulty will vary depending on class. It can very hard not to die a lot as a first level wizard.

Human is recommended as this part of the continent of Rohne where the module takes place is almost exclusively populated with humans. Nothing has been done in scripting or conversations to care about race. However, it will be odd being the only halfling and having no one comment on it.

Game-play is a mix of hack/slash and roleplay. There are not many tricks and traps.

Story:
You find yourself on the outskirts of a port town called Inglast after the fisherman who gave you a lift dropped you off. Neither you nor he wanted to pay the harbor master to dock at the port. Inglast is on the north west coast of a great inland sea called the Varn in the kingdom of Imer. The reason you were getting a ride on a fishing boat to begin with is another story all together.

Imer is a fairly rich land of hills and mountains separated by lush valleys. It's known across the continent for its wine making. But in fact some of the better wines are reserved for local consumption and what is exported is not generally the cream of the crop.

Interesting short module. With a rogue it seems more for level 2-3 than 1, at least if the character it's just created. Good plot and without any error. Good work.
