Making your way east and tired of footsore wandering, you agreed to travel with a small merchant caravan for a few coin and the promise of assistance should there be trouble. Well, trouble there was. An ambush by some rather effective bandits has slain the caravan master and all but yourself and one of the other guards. You have escaped with your grievously wounded comrade within the walls of a small town, aptly named 'Stark'. You have never heard of the place, but then you had never trod this dark and winding road neither. This mod is recommended for level 3 fighter or multi-class, level 4 rogue or mage. Your chosen class and alignment will make a difference in how the game is played out and to certain NPC reactions. See readme for gameplay notes (not spoilers)
Fairly enjoyable vintage module. Too bad is bugged (scripts) making it almost unplayable. The final Boss seems very tough too for such low level module. Can be avoided if it is not fixed.

I had a lot of fun playing this one.
My only beef is that the way it ended kind of left me hanging.

If you are looking for a pretty good adventure module with interesting npcs to interact with, some tough fights that are not over-whelming, and an interesting storyline then check this module out. Good stuff.

thegeorge, your tips are much appreciated, and I'll be correcting some of those things right away.
You'd make a good playtester.

Bug - the door "nf_tunnels_satyr" points to the waypoint "WP_nf_grond_03", which doesn't exist. The rest of my points I list here in hopes that you will improve on this module so feel free to either act on them or ignore them.
**SPOILERS**
Wencelas - could be spawned wounded; the journal should update after getting the salve and esp. after healing him; Capt. Valaire repeats the same conversation; journal entries switch back and forth from 1st person to 2nd person; got an Ettercap's Silk Gland from the Corpse Eater; every time I speak to 'Bug-Eye' after he has joined me I get the message,"You may only have 1 henchman at at time."; I clicked on the Area Transition next to Leshy without defeating him and it updated my journal as though I had; after I defeated the shapechangers in the west tower I picked up 3 strange objects called "Creature Bludgeon Weapon" - because you didn't give them the Weapon Proficiency 'Creature' I believe; cabBalistic (1 "b" not 2); and the conversation with Leflare never triggered, apparently because you check for the same condition twice within the same dialogue node (nf_checkleflare1).
