The Shadowlords campaign continues in this module. You find yourself in the town of Waterdeep, also known as the City of Splendors. It is Midsummer Festival and the city stops to celebrate for the day. You have rented rooms at the Dancing Cyclops, relaxing after your long adventures of the weeks before. Note that you must download the associated hak pack to play this module. There is also an optional introduction movie that you can find at http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/movies/data/1042170697041.shtml. Place it in your /nwn/movies/ directory to have it play when the module begins.
Not as much conversation in the Dancing Cyclops as I'd like. Interesting side quests and personalities. Swamp may be a little tough. _________________________ The road to Ravenloft is paved with good intentions.

This is my vote for the whole series. My only real complaint is that this should have been longer! There was so much material created that this could have been an epic. *SPOILERS WARNING* The entering of other people's dreams thing could have been used to much better effect... entering the dreams of the characters etc (although the burning woman could have been the islander's wife). The final lair was also a bit of a disappointment... finding two ice crystals and a map of how to use them, in the hands of a dead person, near the entrance was a bit of an unconvincing plot device. But that's all the negativity out of the way... I really enjoyed this series.

What is supposed to happen after the Meteor Shower? I seem to be stuck in the area with the Festival; all the doors are locked except the Candy Shop and the Dancing Cyclops. I've talked to everyone in the Dancing Cyclops, but none of them allow me to continue the story....

I just downloaded the Dreamcatcher modules, however I've had some problems with Skyfall. (Spoilers . . . I guess) During the cutscenes, I get transported to the place with all the children and the teacher. However, once I speak with Teacher Hags, all the children disappear but I'm still there in my adult form. I tried speaking to the teacher again, but I'm still stuck in the room and don't go anywhere. I've tried restarting it several times, but this same thing still happens. What can I do about this?

I'm having the same problem as Rand. Any idea how I can fix it?

I enjoyed Shadowlords tremendously; as such, I wasn't sure Dreamcatcher 1 would be able to live up to the standards set by its predecessor. Boy, was I wrong... DC1 provides you with some interesting things to get done- and mind you, this is without having left the first location yet! Some of the dialogue options in the Dancing Cyclops segment of the mod are absolutely priceless (e. g., "I'm a level 9 character- I don't do errands like this anymore."). I know that not everyone enjoys seeing out-of-character comments like this- but personally, I thought they were hilarious. [I did have some trouble with the dart player. No matter what I tried, the option to examine his dart never came up. Indeed, I came away with the impression that he didn't have it after our first game- as he failed miserably during our rematch, allowing me to gain back the gold I'd lost, plus some XP as well. It isn't really that big a deal- I rarely use darts myself- but thought I'd mention it here.] Getting back to the main story, though: After a few fun quests in Cyclops Square, things start rocking- literally. The entire transition for the meteor shower was quite well-done; I almost jumped out of my seat when the first rock fell. Then the main quest begins. That in no way diminishes the fun in the mod, though. From helping a lost ranger seek revenge to chatting things up with a fairly talkative katana, DC1 gives you plenty to do along the way. You may be intently focused on your main task, or laughing out loud at some of the dialogue- but you're never bored, up through to the very end. Apart from the tasks themselves, I've found myself enjoying many of the custom items found in DC1. The talking katana and the psionic gem in particular are not to be missed. A fun beginning to a new series. Onward to DC2... _________________________ NWN: Shifter Expanded Classes hak, GLWizard Spell Pack NWN2: GLWizard Spellpack with Extra Invocations

I loved Shadowlords, and am starting this now, but I seem to be having a problem. I went through the Dancing Cyclops, did every quest in there, went outside, freed the bear and did the candy shop thing, and the guy gaurding the tent still says I have something to do. I noticed some other comment talked about someone asking your character to free the bear, but that never happened to me. Could that be my problem?
