Description
For the love of winter(part one) is the first story of many to come that involve the elves of evermeet. You don't acually make it to evermeet in this module, but if you enjoy it..look for part two ;)

pros: nice story
cons: short even with areas so laaaaaaaarge (and dull). And of course story ends abruptly.

Really nice mod. Journal entries would improve the narrative, but it is pretty solid as it is. A pity that the author never finished the series - I would really like to see what would happen once we meet Winter herself.
It is a very good mod and well worth the download... recommended.

Hi there Ombra Scura just finished playing your mod. I enjoyed it very much, its pretty solid - eg. the technical site seemed to work just fine and the story, although straight forward, was interesting enough to keep my curiosity intact to the end.
2 points - that would improve the overall feel of the mod - did come to mind though:
A) Use journal entries I know its a short mod, so it should be expected that the pc can keep track of events, but still I think its quit nice to have some track record to lean upon, when in doubt. For instance its important for the story that the pc goes to visit the wiz tower first before entering the dragons lair (to find out that the soulstone has been taken by some adventures who later got themselves chewed by the drago).
B) Throw in a hak-pak to enhance the looks of the areas. Have you seen the works in the SK-1 and in particular SK-2? - The custom stuff in there would really make your forest environment come alive trust me its a beautiful scenery, ------- plus it is bound to improve your gameratings ;-)
Nuff said, thanks for the gaming experience it was a pleasure will be looking forward to part 2
cheers

Finished this last night. I liked the story and the area design. It's short but that just means you can finish it in one session. I'll be looking for the next in this series.
