This is the introduction movie for the Firefly Development system; unzip it to your NWN\movies directory when running the module for a great intro to the world of Firefly (then buy the DVD's from Fox, because Firefly is so shiny!). PLEASE NOTE: The movie is for NWN roleplaying purposes ONLY, and not intended for general viewing (besides, the quality isn't frankly up to general viewing). The movie is 14 MB unzipped.

When I try to run this it says I'm missing a custom talk table. I have the updated firefly.tlk in my nwn/tlk folder. Any idea what I might be missing?

The Firefly NWN system was built for the express purpose of growing the Firefly fan-base and thereby convincing other people to look into, watch, and BUY Firefly. Got it? Please don't hurt us - we're trying to help :)

Quite right on all fronts, Kandelai. Great show, Fox's fault, many would agree, and Serenity the movie is NOT to be missed when it comes out!
In the meantime, I hope this system gives people what they need to fill the time till the movie arrives :)
The first alpha run we had really felt like something approaching an episode of the show. I think the system does a pretty good job of recreating the feel of the genre. Enjoy!
What a great show/series. I just finished the last episode on DVD today. It was a shame Fox's execs got involved and royally messed up the series, ultimately causing its demise. It was critically acclaimed and now one of my favorites.
The good news is that Warner Bros is letting Josh Whedon (the creator) make it into a movie. Filming starts in June for a 2005 release. The movie will be called Serenity, the name of the spaceship with most of the old cast returning, although it is set farther in the future. Rumor has it that if the movie goes well, it will spawn another TV series. Cross your fingers.
Good to see you are working on the transition to NWN. I can't wait to check it out.
