Official trailer for the upcoming Hordes of the Underdark expansion pack. The trailer includes very quick clips showing a lot of combat along with the new features that will be included.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 1 that made this score of 6 then rounded to 6.

Hmm, I'm gonna have to say that I have some complaints about the trailer as well. A) If that low quality videot sucks up 40 megs of harddrive space, then I think it's time to find a new file format. B) It really didn't show anything recognizably new. The only way this trailer would appeal to anyone would be if they had played NWN a long time ago, and quit playing after beating it and didn't keep up to date on expansions. I know if I didn't know ahead of time that there was a new expansion to NWN, and then saw a trailer about it (any trailer no matter how shitty it was) I would run out and get the game.

I agree with Lord_Calgar, how is this expansion any different from all the other expansions any company has ever made? The reason its called an expansion is because its not a full game and require the original

What i dont understand is why some of you who have posted, are expecting HotU to run without the game, it's an expansion not a brand new game.

That was the worst Trailer I've EVER seen! It's nothing but a high speed compilation of every spell effect they could squeeze into 30 seconds. THey should of showed off the game more "slowly"

i'd like to reply to Sab.
the trailers are made by Bioware for people that don't know NWN or they didn't played it. Trailers are made for the masses.
You should know the most of public-known details if you are a medium lvl NWN player (medium lvl -> not a newbie, not a hrdcore player). you don't need a useless trailer to know what HotU has to offer. Browse NWvault and you'll find most of news.
And the most things offered by HotU are things that you can't see in a trailer (feats, epic lvls).
I'm sure I'll love HotU as I love NWN so i don't need a trailer to decide to buy it.

I guess Atari and Bioware can feel lucky they provided alot of info on their website for the fans, this trailer have to be one of the most uniformative I seen. I think I briefly saw a guy with a sword, and some green clouds, but thats it.
Anyway, I wonder why they make expansion pack trailers the same as that for a new game. We know what we are getting, to win us over we need to see details (must haves). This trailer don't show anything, and if it was all I had to see, I probably wouldn't make a buy.
