Heh, well I find Isandor to be a great server. Lots of good RP and the DMs are nice.
And to Abstract - Urko isn't a bad guy really, perhaps you just got on his bad side or he may have had a bad day? Who knows.
Isandor is a server offering some great RP, little XP (Thank god, goodbye powergamers.) and some nice DMs.
I'd say it's one of the best servers out there.

soo this mod has some annoying time, like dying.. after a long time of playing.. and then thiers the cry babies.. *looks at Urko* and i mean he doesnt only cry on the mod, he does it in the forums too! *looks at Urko* i get the impression he doesnt like me.. i hope im not alone cuz if i am ill start to belive it, i try hard to get on his good side, but i dout he has one. anyway the sub-class system is awsome. but trust me when i say its addicting. i mean realy addicting. on several occasions ive played the mod for atleast 32 hours strait! im not kidding, then ill sleep for about 14 and get on again! ((i need a life anyone got one for trade?)) i had a freind who is the Biggest anti RP person i have EVER met, who says "I think people who RP should be shot, thiers nothing more retarded" who followed me to this mod once and he at first said, he hates it already, and didnt know what meta-gaming was, i told him to remake his charactor and not min/max stats :P ((see Urko i can be helpful)) so he started to like it when he met the "awsome sub-class sytem, it gives you that perfect feel of total customibility of creating your own camp - house - community - hamlet - village - town - city - county - provence - territory - state - coutry and anything else you can think of, my next step is to work on town polotics, and ive got that covered, except my charator has an 8 intellegence :/ so i dont get to take credit for my input >.< i have to use tells and pretend others had the ideas :(
well im only posting becuase of the update or i would be playing instead, and i hope you will soon after reading this, becuase i could use some company thier :) *looks at Urko* even you i wouldnt mind as a player not the annoying dm :) j/k but you are annoying, oh yea you stink too :P

Information:
I am the oldest player to ever play isandor, (that still plays)
It was first a dream of chass, where me and selric came to help her, i ended up being the head tester (ive been blown up so many times lol)
I couldnt beleive it after 3days of it being up, we where testing farming and building, the first time ive ever seen it possible. and i still havent seen another mod do it.
Players started joining soon after, there was only ever 1 npc.
this npc traded skins for tools needed, and soon, skills came into effect of building farming toolmaking.
The areas expanded.
And now it is plains as in life, deserts, cold mountins, grass fields.
Many skills availble, the players and RP has expanded, so much more is available.
After playing for so long i found i couldnt rp on other servers, i expected players to rp as well as they do on isandor.
But its becuase on these so called RP servers, there are hard fantasy mobs of dragons and such with give rediculus exp, no one cares about rp exp rewards when they go out and get it easier.
Isandor is Unique, you must come and test it for yourself. It may be difficult to understand at first but all the players are helpfull and will get you settled in.

Chass Modified it for her module.. if you couldnt modify it.. how would anyone make recipes? making a recipe requires you to alter the script. it's not like she took credit..

It's one thing to bash a server.. but dont bash a friend of the server..
A) I think Chass knows how to run the server perfectly. hell. without her it wouldnt be the same.. she's built up a nice world. a "Unique" World.
B) in case you didnt know. he holds a grudge against the ADMIN of the world crafter. maybe thats why he's on a tangent now.
Ignore him anyway.
C) I know Chass.. she's given players major oppertunities to roleplay in their own fashion with a bit of DM assistance..
she's very reasonable and such.. everyone there likes her, she's not your average.. Super DM who thinks he's boss..
she runs the server as if the players are running it.. as it should. if people want to get a certain someone banned.. the players vote on it.. and debate on it. same goes for unbanning. and she'll even make a script for you if you ask her.. such as flying (Characters with wings) and such. thats how cool she is.. you'd have to do something serious to piss her off to ban you on her own.
D) I agree with Struck.. Most of my deaths have been hilarious In character. makes you want to play again.
the world itself is Way different than many others.
I've never seen a world like it.
E) Though.. some players get out of hand.. thats everywhere.. if you as a player tell them.. you can put them in their place.. Isandor is ran by players for players.
Which is cool. DM's and Players are almost on the same pedistal.. ( they have the magic finger of death :P , players dont ) anyway.. you are entitled to your opinion.. and i'm not here to bash it.. i'm here for clerification.

First of all hmmm, all the time i've been playing Isandor, ive never seen ANYONE getting abused, nethier have i seen anyone get banned for no reason.
It clearly states that Isandor is an enforced Roleplay server, if you dont obey common sense and the rules, then you obviously get penalised.
And who really cares about the XP? I mean really?
I dont play there for it, yesterday i had a character with 870 xp die, and i just laughed my **** off, I only play on Isandor for the amazing RP experience, for others it may be different, but ****, Isandor was created to be a truly great RP module, instead of some place just to level up, was it not?

This truly is an excellent server... this is one of those rare servers where the players drive the power of the world. People really focus on RP, probably also the only server I know of where you can make a char for the sole purpose of RPing and find that you'll enjoy it.
This isn't a server about monster hunting or phat loot. It's a server that is focused on RP.
The PLAYERS create EVERYTHING in this world, and the DMs are extremely flexible... often I am amazed by their flexibility and willingness to assist the players. Players really drive the stories, the roleplaying, and even the towns. Towns and buildable objects are all built and placed by players, there are no npcs. It's a server where the players choose their own destiny, and change and affect the destiny of those around them.
Ever dreamed of being a great king, a feared assassin, mighty hero, or maybe just a bumbling peasant farmer? This is the place to go, starting out is often difficult to learn the ropes and the ins and outs, but once you do, you'll find this to be the most amazing roleplaying experience ever.

all three deserved it
it's not as if were ban freaks
and somepowermetagamer,eltrash and trk deserved it most of all
Isandor sounds interesting, unfortunately I can't see the movie on my Mac. Well... too bad.
I'd like to know where to find history and information about the settings so I can build a character.

If i remember correctly, TRK_Renegade used two of his charatures to benifit himself, he also killed people for not paying him on land he thinks he owns (the death on isandor is persistent which i find cool, and more relistic)
He also went around killing people to loot there items.
He abused DMs, he abused chass:
One such letter was. "If you dont unban me i will hack your computer and make them blow up catching on fire and burn down your house while you sleep. I know many hackers who will be able to do this"
Can you beleive somone writing that just becuase there banned?
He was unbanned after a complete wipe (very rare)
becuase the ban list was destroyed, insted of rebanning him, chass gave him another chance, the same as all the banned people, but insted he copied peoples names ruined there RP, and still meta/powergamed.
So he was banned, unlike the other previous banned people who learnt there lesson and played alot better.
There is no ban first time, offences et you warnings, or serious a Week ban.
A month at most. But if it is continued it is a permenent ban.
As it is a community, permenent bans are decided by everyone from polls. And unbanning can be done the same way.
As it shows from hmmm? the post previosuly, the one who sent the Agrressive letter, if he took trouble to write that, wanting to be unbanned, doesnt it show its a good mod?
He always tried getting back on, meaning it must be fun to play there.
Well my view is, I LIKE THE MOD!

hm, well Mr. X. i do believe i know who you are...however... people who get banned are people who don't read the rules on the sign marked in the entrance area with big letters RULES!
or people who power/metagame, whom we do tend to act quite angrily towards.
Chass never claimed that she made CNR, if you play the mod you will actually see it as "CNR (heavily modified by Chass)" or something close. which is the truth, Chass took an already good thing, and made it much better.
I've played for almost a year now TRK and each time you're involved, you cause problems. I think your not that bad a guy, just very immature, and not cut out for Isandor...
People, take it from somebody who hasn't been banned, Isandor is an awesome mod, at very least, try it sometime.

What are you talking about man? I know who you are but I wont reveal any names, There is like 6 new Event DM's on and in different timezones to accommodate us new players..
And from what i remember, Jake Didnt get banned. You got banned for Metagaming.. not once.. not twice.. but three times.. dont put down such a good server..
I guarentee you this.. the scripting here on the server goes way beyond! Hell, Check out the Housing scripts on the server.. You can build your own house.. From the ground up.. and it's persistent so if a reset happens.. it'll always remain there.. Dont let a little scare like what he said scare you off.. And to be honest.. this server is the only server WHICH ENFORCES ROLEPLAY. unlike many other servers out there. Give it a shot.

Look i've been there many times and all the time theres no DM on .... people rely on the DMs there because thats the only way you get XP..... you cant kill creatures for XP
and the creatures are way over powering the Players.
And theres never a DM on.
......
Plus theres so many people that get pissed but the slightest thing you do wronge.
my friend Jake got Banned cause a newb came up and hit him * newb lvl 1 *
* Jake lvl 2 with a copper dagger *
newb hit jake.... automaticly the character attacks what ever hits it... jake's character killed the newb in 1 hit and he got banned for it.
people got banned for saying that chass was a froud for saying she Built "CNR" banned also.....
for the many people i've seen DIE , banned , Abused.
its a very sad place...
I'm scared of playing there.
not running you down chass but you need to sort out your rules players.... and yourself. No ofense.
I've only played because i've been intrigued by FESTIX scripts " CNR " .... but i dont play no more because its so depressing .
Dont get dragged into this world of hate and banningship.
every player i know there... i say ahh lets go here ... " DONT YOU'll GET BANNED! ".....
The scripts will drag you in but after a while you'll suffer.

This is a good server actually, it's something new and this is a server where they actually enforce roleplay. there are no quests.. but "Events" as they put it.. Difference being events can go on more than a few months and it's totally up to the player to how they handle it.. coolio!
