I've been with this server for years now. Its the best I've come across. This short movie, however impressive, only begins to show the unique atmosphere of Cormyrean Prophecies.

It could be a video card problem. I've also noticed that if you are low on Hard Drive space, larger videos can slow down and become jerky as you've described, but i'm not sure if that's the problem you're having. Have you tried using the DivX player? (I do like Media Player better but trying a different program might help narrow down the problem.)
As for fraps, that's simply for capturing footage, and I don't believe you can watch movies on it.
I downloaded this trailer recently. I LOVE it btw. Especially the music in the background. That music gave me a real buzz. :-)
Anyhow, slight problem here.
I play this trailer on my 'Windows Media Player' and it's not very smooth, as it gets all jumpy/jerky, and makes crackling noises.
I thought there was supposed to be an update on this, like I read, but now I'm not too sure.
BTW - I Do already have the DivX Codec, and yet it STIll doesn't run smoothly.
Also, someone gave a link to 'FRAPS' which I had a look at,
but unfortunately, I don't know how to use the program, to get a movie to play on it, and so I decided to get rid of it from my Hard Drive.
I just HOPE and PRAY that SOMEONE will come along SOON, to help me out here, as mostly everytime I post anything at The Vault, nobody reads my posts. :-(
