Hi-Res Trailer highlighting all the features from 'The Witcher' an action roleplaying game which is a total conversion of NWN using a licenced version of the Aurora engine.
The Witcher combines spectacular and visually stunning action with deep and intriguing storyline. The game is set in a world created by best-selling Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, which shares many common features with other fantasy lands, but there are also some distinguishing elements setting it apart from others. The game features the player as a Witcher, a warrior who has been trained to fight since childhood, subjected to mutations and trials that transformed him. He earns his living killing monsters and is a member of a brotherhood founded long ago to protect people from werewolves, the undead, and a host of other beasts.

Sky_Stryker get more schooling. Has nothing to do with top pf the line systems. I had problems streaming but ending up just saving it to the desktop which ran fine from there. The movie however isn't anything special, if you want an indepth RPG to drool over check out Vampire Bloodlines.
The Witcher looks like any other RPG that has been out, if your bored its worth to check out but nothing big.
I am happy and proud to say that I didn't have any problems whatsoever in watching this hi-res clip on my PC!
*YAY FER ME!!* ;-)
Some of you out there musn't have very good computers if you had any problems with it. *coughs* - Ahem, I meant you must have top of the range computers. *sneaky laugh!*
Anyhow....
Regarding the clip itself, I realised the download was in Winamp form, and I never like to watch anything on winamp apart from using the software for audio purposes.
I find that watching anything in Winamp gives poor results,
sooo......
what could be more easier than just by dragging it across to my Windows Media Player? 'DONE! :-)
Very good quality I have to say!
Apart from that, it's a very good clip indeed I think!
I've seen the pics too, and the graphics are definitely a lot better this time round.
Hey, even the water looks a lot more realistic too in this one. :-)

Looks fantastic! Please let it be D20 rules. Then I'll have something to play as a successor to NWN, in view of the recent disastrous news!
I had no problems viewing it, and what a view it is! Definetly something I want to play :D"Ooo! Opposable thumbs!" _________________________ "Ah! Opposable digits!"

The trailer didn't even show anything from those shots.
It was just a nobleman NPC walking around.

Just another example, with a little tweaking, what the Aurora engine can do. _________________________ "To alcohol - the cause of and solution to all of life's problems." - Homer J. Simpson

What codec does it use? I don't seem to be able to run either the hi-res or the low-res version.
Ahh! Please put this on the Vault server. I downloaded it over about an hour or so, had to resume it once, cause it stopped, only to find that there was some kind of data corruption that happened during the transfer. I'm re-downloading it now, but it is now downloading at a maximum of 1.1 kilobytes.
Rock on! This is a superb use of the Aurora engine! I am totally thrilled with this project, as as a game designer myself, your art style, look, and feel is far superior to Dragon Lame...er.. I mean Dragon Age *wink*
Morrowind may need ot step aside. I stongly encourage you to include some form of multiplayer element. (even if just 8 players ala DS/BG/D2)
Please don't make a just a single player game!
*applauds*

Very cool...I love the textures and it looks like they did some pretty cool stuff with the Aurora engine. Can't wait to play it.
