"Blade Introduction" is a 3d animated movie, which I have created as an interesting new way to introduce my new character to the rest of my group, the "Sunday Knights" at Neverwinter Connections.
Through the film, I feel that I have given a good general view of how she may have come across to the other characters at first meeting, as well as their first short adventure together.
The file is rather large (just under 60MB) as it is intended to be viewed 'full screen'. It is a 16:9 aspect ratio WMV file. The rar includes a hak that may (and should) be disregarded if you are NOT a "Sunday Knight". If you are a Custom Content developer, feel free to check it out.
I hope you all enjoy the film. Note: Due to a less-than-one-second shot where her blouse lifts a bit too high, I have rated the film PG-13 (Brief Nudity). If you watch beyond the credits, you'll see my mighty Dragon roar!

Thank you Lord!
I do realize the stiffness... bums me out too... but I have been find new (albeit complicated)ways of correcting that.
Regarding the violin thing, I feel the same way, but getting it the way it is now was difficult enough for me... so I just figured that peeps could use their imagination a bit, especially since the animations were done before I decided upon the music... kinda backwards, but... oh well! I felt lucky enough just to figure out how to mesh all of the clips together into a movie, which I had no idea how to do... good ol' Movie Maker from microsoft helped tremendously!
My next animated movie, although a long time from now, I'm sure, will be much better and a lot more natural.
Thank you so much for your kind words and creative input! I truly appreciate that! :)

Hi Rosie :)
EXPOSING YOURSELF LIKE THAT AS A 3D MODEL IS ABSOLUTLY FABULOUS!!! lol
Ok really, even if Im not an animator I still see room for improvement though it is really good what you have accomplish and I can see the hard work you have put in and that is the most important here for your first animation artwork ;)
What I like is you have work on not only the body movement but also facial expressions a bit and it helps a lot to make a character look alive. The down side that hit me was that your Character seems a bit stiff in movement in some parts and I would have liked to see her play the violin a little faster when the violin part in the music was faster.
On that note, this is just creative criticism not a shot down Rosie, you did a great job at your first animation video. Well done! I have enjoyed it.
BTW... Welcome back!... haven't heard from you in a while :)

Hi Rosietreats!
The movie was very well made, I liked it a lot. It was, ahem, fairly gratutious in some places, but that's not a bad thing, really. Seems like you have an interesting character there - thanks for sharing this with the community. :)

Ok, please post kindly!
For one, the footage used to make this film is some of my first work with 3d animations.
Secondly, there is no plot involved... just a fun new thing I was trying for showing some attitude of my character to a very select audience.
Third, I am still very new at this. However, I am already learning from what I've noticed by watching this film over and over.
So... Please be kind...
I am kinda proud of what I have accomplished here :)
