I agree with it being too short. =P
I do not think the dmg numbers or highlight names detracted from it too much. Scoring based on what it is, nonprofessional fanart, I think it's well done.

Starts out promising, with good music, but the middle goes virtually silent. Many moments are too dark to see clearly, then the spinning (cool at first) is overdone. The laggy feel and popup numbers don't help. Music at the end is good, though. _________________________ "No sprinkles! For every sprinkle I find, I shall kill you." -Stewie, Family Guy

Well, this started out great, with a nice slow buildup in the beginning. Then it all went to lagging, spinning, chaotic, floating number hell in the very end. Too much at once, the visible game mechanics detracting from the cinematic feel and the jagginess doesn't help, either. At least the good part was much longer.

Too much spinning...

One of the more amazing movies on the Vault.

The first piece of music is from the remake of The Time Machine, but I don't know what it's called offhand.

I'm pretty sure that the name of the piece is "Lux Aeterna", from Requiem For A Dream.

An excellent work of art, that has been very well pieced together and has wonderful pacing.
Howeverly manages to give a hint of the sheer brilliance of the module it was made for.
Could anyone tell me where the battle music at the end is from? I really like it.

Starts out ok, but gets boring. Turn off the damage numbers and 2nd story tileset clipping for goodness sakes. And you keep hovering over players so their names pop up randomly. The text looks cool but the action sequences are all viewed at weird angles while spinning in circles (mostly). Music editing could have used some work too.

Thank you for all the votes, guys! However, as great as you might think this little movie clip to be, it's just a mere shadow of the mod, Emergence. So if you liked the pictures you've seen, check out the mod's website, Link and visit us in game. It'll be worth it.

Incredibly well done. The graphics show a life of their own!! It would be very cool to see more of these. The sound score keeps you on the edge from start to finish.

Pretty cool video. Nice bunch of people who play this, good roleplayers, shame half of them are Canadian but I guess nothing in life is perfect.

Very well put together. Loved the musical selection! Cinematic-like scenes were very cool, made me wish I played the game more than I did :) Again, very good music *coughRequiemcoughForAcoughDream*

FRAPS was used to record the in-game scenes, and I think Meddrynn said he used Combustion to create the text and special effects with the logo at the end.

What tools did you use to create this trailer?
Posted by Silhouette at 2004-07-11 09:56:00 Voted 10.00 on 07/22/04
A wonderful job, creating and putting together the trailer. Meddrynn has given players but a taste of the epic level events that transpire on this module.
The trailer gives a glimpse into this fantasic world of Nyrubia. A land created and DM'd by Winter. With awesome and energetic players dedicated to true roleplay, the trailer in all of its incredibly spectacular quality, cannot show what this DM and the worlds' players are capable of given the world they inhabit.
