I have this system installed into my server, but whenever the server crashes and restarts I lose data.

How can I prevent this? Also, how can I make it so that the restart goes off at a designated time of day? (such as 4am, 12pm, and 8pm)

Sorry if this is a lot to ask, but this seems very useful.

Just wondering if anyone could give some directions on how to use this. How do I make it happen every four hours say? Can anyone help?

Ok, scarface found and fixed the issue. use this line instead:
SetLocalString(GetModule(),"NWNX!RESETPLUGIN!SHUTDOWN","1");

Note the "1" as the value to be saved. Also note that there is a new version with a much faster reset time. Thanks for the feedback and have fun!

Hrm, a little more information would be good. What OS? I should mention this will only work on windows. And its been tested on windows XP. Another caveat, it takes about 30-60 seconds for the server process to time out and windows to clean it up. So after you execute the script, wait a few and see if it times out.

Doesnt work for me O_O, I am a good scripter, I hace alot of leto dll plugins I installed in my module to add wings, subraces, character deleter no probs, but this just doesnt work for me. I called ExportAllCharacters and a delayed 5 second SetLocalString(GetModule(),"NWNX!RESETPLUGIN!SHUTDOWN",""); from an OnItem activate, the item activates no probs from the debug message, but the server doesnt reset.
