Vuldrick�s Universal Base Module
VERSION 032510 with CEPv2.3
- Feature packed base module for construction of SP/MP/PW/DMed/Non-DMed modules
- Allows people with little to no script experience to build a powerful and feature packed module with persistence
- HIGHLY CONFIGURABLE allowing those from any gaming and building style to benefit from the power of this base module
With this complete, tested, and highly polished base module, you should be able to build any type of module you want. The only scripting that will be �required� of the builder involves modifying constant variables in a few include files; its as easy as opening the script and following the instructions on what numbers to change. If you do need to have special �extraordinary� scripting for some part of your quests this system will not be able to help you with that.
I want this to be the best and most universal base module available so please give feedback on features you like, don�t like, and things you want to see changed.
The documentation is not complete yet, although it is already extensive. I will be updating the documentation as I find time to do so. When the documentation is complete, I plan to offer multiple file formats such as html, pdf, etc.

CEP 2.3 will integrate many system that will make some of these other system obsolete (in a sense). To Noisia: I mentioned a crafting system to Stridor in a previous post . . . but the example of it is not found in this basemod. You would have to downoad my PW to see it. The same goes for the faction system. I have a fully functioning faction system and it is implemented into my PW . . . I plan to release these two systems as stand alone systems and to add them to the basemod . . . eventually. _________________________ Vuldrick Garrison

To Stridor: Sorry mate, don't know of any "easy to implement and use" crafting system. I use to have one in my PW, but I pulled it out cause it was rarely used and the overhead was not worth it on the module. I am adding a custom magic item forging system though . . . you can see the start of it in the wizard or sorc guilds . . . the enchanting pool. The scripted recipes can be changed to whatever you want and you can have as many recipes as you fancy. _________________________ Vuldrick Garrison

yohohoho! Vuldrick returns - *sets up the maximised Noisia Greater Questions Storm*......ok not really. but i do have 2 questions >. 1. do you think eventually you will include a crafting system? i don't have much idea about crafting systems, but i would love a bug free, solid system included, for those people who do like it. 2. i was very very intrigued by your mention of a 'faction editor' - that sounds like a lot of fun, although i'm sure it will entail more hard work. do you think you might get round to that eventually? its something that i's love to see included. ok, its safe now! hehe. enjoy your vacation and thanks once again for this awesome module. :D

Hey folks, sorry for the delayed response. Been on vacation for over a month now and am still out of town. I am going home and should be there in a few days. Once I get back in the saddle, as it were, I will get back to all your questions. And yes..It would be superb to belnd your base module with not only a CEP 2.3 C.R.A.P. version when it comes out but also Orlanders Crafting system...for the ULTIMATE base module...there would be NOTHING on the vault that would compare with this base mod if it was done. _________________________ Imtherealthing CCP (The Community Creature Project) The TRIAD
