Hi.. these are a great addition to the windows interface.. my only bug was that you should hook up with The Amethyst Dragon and get a colour version up for download...

Thanks guys. As for Ben, Glad you like them. I dont think I want to slow down the busy cursors right now. I think thyre ok. NWN only has the 2 pictures with that inside, I suppose I could make more to make he mouse twirl or something, or I could just make it go back and forth slower. I guess a little slower could be ok. Not a priority at the moment though. my msstyles file is about 50% finished.
I'm gonna finish the NWN windows theme (and logon and loading screens) before I make any more changes to the cursors.
My windows is looking more and more like the nwn gui.
as for how to set up thecursors
---------------------------------
Open your control panel
Switch to classic view
Open Mouse
Go to the Pointers tab
Set the cursors to what you want them to be
For organization's sake, I put my cursors in the windows/cursors directory, but you can put them anywhere you want.

Great idea!
It might be helpful for the less Windows-savvy folks if you added a readme detailing how/where to install the files (not that \WINDOWS\Cursors is too difficult to figure out). And I find the animated cursors to be a bit annoying (due to the speed they "move"), but that's a personal preference.

I put some more work into my windows skin, by the way. It's coming along nicely.

Nice cursor set. Couldn't find the diagonal cross shown in the image -- the one used for 'unavailable', so I just substituted the spare 'talk to' icon instead. Works well and looks great. Nice job.
