More than 4 years ago, I created the original Spell Icons: Colorized package, making it possible to quickly and easily sort and select spells based on "themes" (fire, cold, mind-affecting, etc.).
Now comes Generation 2!
New colors for most of the spells. New icons for some. No "borders" anymore for any of them (making them look a bit nicer on the quickbar and working better with my transparent GUI).
Decompress these into your override folder and take them for a spin. If you have an opinion on these (good or bad), come on back and let me know!
An essential override like colorized effect icons (which are at the top right of your NWN 1 HUD), but this is especially useful for spellcaster PCs to properly micro spell use.

Beautiful Work, I've enjoyed your first version for several years and it has both improved my gameplay and enjoyment. Thank you for continuing to breathe new life into this amazing game with your creative work. Hall of Fame worthy!!!

I didn't even know you'd released version two AD. I've been using the GUI for almost as long as you've had it out I think. I remember the discussion on the old bioware forums that people used to work out what things to add and remove with the GUI.

I thank you, and Lyann thanks you!

went straight from the original icons to these beauties. WOW! makes it easy to sort them, because of the different school backgrounds. Well done!

taltamir: I see what you mean now. When I commented before, I was thinking it'd be slightly simpler just to decompress directly into the existing NWN/override folder (instead of decompressing a folder full of files, then having to move/copy those files into the override folder). I wasn't thinking about folks that might not use all their overrides at the same time...I'm the type that once I find an override I like, I use it all the time (for instance, I haven't played without my transparent gui and colorized icons overrides since I created them). Just a matter of personal preference, I guess. _________________________ World of Aenea (Hall of Fame PW and the origin of all my works) Vault Entries: The Complete List (50+ entries, including 17 Hall of Fame awards) Self-Promotional Honesty: If you have opinions on stuff I've made, or if you use any of it (as a player or builder), I like comments/votes/feedback...so do other content makers and builders.
As far as putting it all inside an "override" folder inside the .rar, most people I know already have other stuff in their NWN/override folder, and one less "layer" of file transferring just makes things a tiny bit easier.
I don't understand how it has 1 less layer this way. If you want to keep it seperate then you need to: 1. Rename your current override, say, to override-old 2. create a new override 3. extract files into override if the files are already in a subdir called override then step 1 is the same, but instead of step 2 and 3 you just extract to your NWN root dir. I am not trying to tell you what to do here :P, I just genuinely don't understand what you are talking about, so if you can clarify it I would be much obliged. _________________________ I do not have a superman complex; for I am God, not Superman!
