To make this script work with GIMP 2.0, change the line posted below, and change
gimp-channel-ops-duplicate
to
gimp-image-duplicate

Hm. The message board is wisely, if clumsily, dropping things that look like HTML tags. I tried to use the HTML greater-than/less-than elements (and they showed up fine in the preview window) but they got filtered out of the final posting. Lame.

So the /Xtns/ part needs to be preceeded by:

/less-than-signToolboxgreater-than-sign

Change the line that reads:

_"/Script-Fu/NeverWinter/NWN Portrait"

to:

"/Xtns/Script-Fu/Utils/NW Portrait..."

I tried to install the script in Linux, buy it says

Plug-In "script-fu" (/usr/lib/gimp/1.2/plug-ins/script-fu)
attempted to install procedure "script_fu_nwportrait"
in an invalid menu location.
Use either "", "", "", or "".

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 2 that made this score of 8.00 then rounded to 8.

For you linux GIMP users I've changed the script-fu file to work with Linux. Just copy the following text into a file and save it as nwportraits.scm in your user gimp script directory (ie: /home/username/.gimp-1.2/scripts). It defaults to outputting to /tmp/nwn_portraits.
