Reinstalling beloved ole NWN to get my kids off to a good start with rpgs. Was very dismayed when I hit the patching error but one quick search brought me right here, problem solved and my evil plan to corrupt the next generation can continue apace. Thanks! :)

Did reinstall of NWN for old times sake. Bioware has sold out and dropped the ball while running after money, thankfully community makes the saving throw. Solid 10. _________________________ "Doomsday... The Final Battle... Doomsday... Apocalypse..." -Ministry, Grace

Does it matter if I have Kingmaker installed? Also when I download it what do I do with the file? Sorry for sounding stupid :P

I just bought this game and made a "silver surfer" character; not impressed. Thanks so much for having this file at the ready!

Thank you SOOOO much for posting these patches! But I am right there with Varlen on this one. I can go in an edit stuff, but when I select "play" it says "ok" and then closes with no warning... can anyone tell me how to fix this please? I really miss playing this game. _________________________ ~ Te'Janra ~

Holy heck! It's been a while since I installed NWN on... anything, really, but now, I'm installing NWN on my newish EeePC netbook. Went through the stack of CDs, like nothing. Hohum, boring stuff, but I won't go to GOG and by a *third* copy of the game just because I want convenience, right? Autopatch fails. No big deal. I'll just download it manually. Done this before. Then I remember Bioware site is gone. *Ssssssssmunglecunkuses.* Atari support site babbles about 1.66 and their FTP site only has 1.67. But I do some googling, and bam, I find the files on Neverwinter Vault. *Like I frigging expected.* This site had the file. This site *still* had the frigging file. It's almost a decade since I started playing NWN, and the awesomeness of NWVault site *still* blows my frigging mind. If anyone ever asks what game has the best community, my vote still goes for Neverwinter Nights. _________________________ - Weyfour WWWWolf, lupine technomancer from the cold north
