This is a modified version of Leto. It has all of the SoU things added. Please send me an email if you find I left out something or if you have a problem. [email protected] Portraits have been added. Leto is a character editor. It lets you change all sorts of things. From appearances to stats.
I love the tool, but can't seem to figure out how to change character appearance. I goofed making my char, and now bored looking at it. When I use Leto, I've tried changing the image from (standard), however, any of the other selections look like fixed NWN chars in game. I can't seem to change appearance of the standard char. thx for tips - perhaps I overlooked something?

Kaliea - My post was probably a little premature and more hostile than it should have been. DS is right, it was the duplication of effort that irritated me. Dahzek and I had the lists compiled (error checked and everything) done 3 days after the SoU release, but we (Team LETO) wanted to release a real quality patch, that included more than just the new lists. I really do compliment you on your effort, like I said before it shows initiative, shows that you arent the kind to wait for things to happen but makes them happen. I just think that when it is someone elses work in progress the progress should be left to that person, unless they specifically ask for assistance. Phelonius - Yes all of us on Team LETO are so very different from each of the others, but we get along and work well together to make a great program under dragonsong's direction. Its strange Dave is so tolerant on some things and gets so offended about others, and Im almost the exact opposite of him. (Dont get him started on gun control lol). We didnt need any of Kalieas stuff because we had more done in the first few days than s/he released here, so it was a duplication of effort which was the irritant, like I said above. Not to mention the confusion for people out there that come here to do a search for LETO and find numerous different versions (Our own official versions are confusing enough). As Mr. Dave said, all bug reports should be on the Team LETO forums not emailed to a third party who has up until now had no contact with any of Team LETO. Lol Dave you crack me up everytime you post.

I second that. It is good to see people interested enough to add updates as quickly as they get them. Our delay was mainly based on the fact that Dragonsong did not want to release a partial patch, 'cause face it, patching on a monthly basis sucks. We all know ;) Slamel and Dahzek had the 2da lists done a while ago... I think about 3 days after SoU came out. But more was desired from a patch. Included in the patch are several updates, like finishing out the explain panels for various aspects of the editor. Thanks again for getting at least part of the new SoU stuff out so fast kaliea. Great work! But yes, please have folks send bug reports to Weathersong, otherwise we won't know how to help. :) And to whoever the coward is down there who wants to flame Team Leto and not leave a name: Does your mommy know you talk like that? I bet she would take her computer away from you if she did. Punk.

We had some delay in getting our own internal patch ready. It's now ready. I've submitted it to NWVault, but there's the database delay, so. The duplication of effort is probably what's upset either Slam or Dave. The new content in our own patch covers more than just the SoU stuff - I've made structural changes to Lists.leto.xml, there are all the new Portraits, and there are a ton of new Explains. Note that the patch is *not* Leto version 0.4. Version 0.4 of Leto is still in very early development. The intended features for 0.4 are remote-control editing, an updated interface with Abilities and Spell editing (for starters) and a much-improved much-optimized engine beneath it all. The full source code for version 0.4 will also be released. (A limited version of the source is available for build 65, currently.) Currently, the work on 0.4 involves just Moneo, the command-line (and Linux ported) version of Leto. In short, I do appreciate Kaliea's enthusiasm, but there is now an official patch available, which should supersede the one here. :}

Hmmmm, interesting. Mr Dave thinks it's good as a Beta SoU tide you over until 0.4 is out and HalfSlothHalfCamel takes umbrage and gets indignant, and both are on Team Leto. Is Dragonsong the lead developer and if he is, what is his view? Either Kailea will have saved time as Team Leto can crib what he/she has done or there has been a huge duplication of effort (which I can imagine would be quite depressing for Team Leto). There could also be version control problems as well. When is the ETA for Leto (end of the week is a bit vague)? There is more about 0.4 on this thread than there is under the Leto 0.4 entry. Regardless, I am going to give it a go.

I'm having a hard time getting it to work with a NPC picture. Wondering if this is just me or if this is happening for everyone. If anyone else has had it I would enjoy the help with working it out.

I personally think the LETO team should not get offended by this because someone beat their lazy butts and got it out first
