Neverwinter nights will create a duplicate of your character every time you save your character. This way your character vault will soon become a garbage. The Vault Cleanup wizard will help you with this. Every time neverwinter night runs, it will clean your local vault up by moving every character that is not up to date from the local vault to a localvault.backup directory.
