While this is old, i sure wish there was an updated version that worked with max6 at least. Theres just something about the old MDL suite that I cant leave behind, its so simple and perfect. Since my old HD went to that place all dead HD's go, ive been reluctant to reinstall my old version of Max4 since I cant stand having to install CDilla to run it... and Im rather reluctant to use NWMax since the one time I did use it, I found it overbloated... guess Ill have to get used to it, or use Veltools (since he can at least export to MDl-suite structured mdls, which are the ones im most comfortable with).
Long story short?... Scooter if ya read this, any chance (even if realy slim) of a max 6 version of your original MDl-suite for those of us that have used nothing but your exporter since the birth of NWN (and in my opinion its the best exporter)... even if its been a year since you last stepped in here :P ... guess i can pray and hope. but I wont get my hopes up.. either that or ill just reinstall max4 :( and use it.

Yeah i hate that too biggaman.
Sometimes i get the feeling 3dsmax 5.0 0r even 4.0 (or 3.0 even) is much more usefull than max 6.0.
I hate discreet for not having backward compability.

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 7 that made this score of 8.71 then rounded to 9.

gmax does support plugins... otherwise it would be
useless... gmax was made so that the developers could
release plugins to make custom content easy... Bioware
said that they would create a NWN plugin for Gmax, but it
might take a while... :(

gmax doesn't support plugins

Can these plugins be used in GMAX? If not can they be
easily converted to GMAX?

*stunned and amazed*
I cannot express my utter amazement at this utility.
Kudos doesn't begin to say it.
I've always said that if you could get 100 of the talented
amateurs (as in non-paid) together in any genre you could
create anything and this goes to prove it.
