Version 0.35 of MP3toBMU - with many improvements over 0.30 including: Properties page for files, right-click file delete option, convert to/from .wav(BMU) files, creature sounds, VO and the like, preserve file date option, and MP3 file format check.

With NWN2, you can just rename .bmu files to .mp3 and they play fine in Winamp.

Would be great to make a new file for BMU to MP3 but otherwise a great tool...if you dont know where to look outside of nwn for this.

Excellent program. Though version 0.35 forbids to do bmu at lower frequency and sampling rate than those of Bioware (actually it warn you and let you do but it crash). This is too bad because altering sampling rate a little is a great and efficient way to reduce size of bmu's without loosing hearable quality.
