I would like it to be known, that I have just downloaded this file with the expectation that it would tell me exactly what it DOES tell me. I may be considered 'not with the program' by those 'in the know' from day one, but I didn't know that Bioware made this technique available earlier, and frankly I don't care.
I looked in the tuts area, for tuts, found one that looked interesting, and d/loaded it. If that is not how things are supposed to work, then please excuse my ignorance. If it is exactly how things should work, then take a flying leap Critic, and let people write tuts on anything they like in peace.

Well, in fact, I didn't know how to do it, until i stumbled upon this post. This can be verry interesting to some people
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 6 that made this score of 6.67 then rounded to 7.

Well, actually not everyone out there knows how to do this. Some of us are old enough to actually have jobs and careers, and even kids. I get about an hour a week to mess about with this program, and that includes anything I want to do including designing anything or playing, so some people don't have time to search all the millions of posts on all the various NWN sites. Anyone who takes the time to post something helpful should be welcomed. I think the title makes it obvious enough for someone who 'already knows this'. For one who didn't, it's appreciated.

Im sorry I had to come back again just to laugh and say how stupid this file was, everyone knows how to do it, not just you, dont hold your head so high for discovering what was already known.

Im sorry to ruin your moment...but you realize everyone knows how to do this? Apperently those people whove downloaded your file expected something MORE from just metalic dwarfs with scruffy eyebrows, as ive said many times before, to the people who add pointless files, this website would not be so crowded without them...

I have been looking for this forever. I used to use the ITP tool. But this rocks. Thanks.

Okay, when I found it, though, it was the first I had ever
heard of it. I've kept an eye on the news sites for a
while. I'm wondering why no one uploaded anything like this
before then?

Hmm...No matter which colour I choose it always seems to
be silver metallic. Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, sorry dude_number_1, but you were not the original
discoverer of this trick.

yeah, I was about to ask why this was new news.
These "extra" colors have always been there for the
choosing in the editor...

If your using a texture hak, when you remove the hak the
model stays but is metallic silevr. Did this with the Black
Balor and one of the Aribeth head haks.

I've used this method myself and can vouch for it. The
Portal Keeper in my "Neverogue" module has featureless flat
black for skin tone, and featureless flat white for hair,
clothes and some tattoo color. Some of the clothing looks
very different when given mixures of featureless metal,
black, and white, optionally mixed with some other colors.
But we still need more colors!
