Quick and dirty program to help you pad those .2da files. Simply enter the pad string, and the program will generate however many lines you specify. Then just cut and paste it into the .2da *need the .NET 1.1 Framework, either run windows update to get it, or download it here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=262D25E3-F589-4842-

I'd recomend learning C++ though probably not as easy as C# it's still more likely to be used in the wider world while C# gains acceptance in some areas the only place I've seen it used is people wanting to move from writing visual basic programs to something more 'professional'.
And I can't get this to work, win2k .net 1.1 keeps returning error that I havn't filled in all the various boxes ( only see 3, start end and pad string)
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 1 that made this score of 8 then rounded to 8.

Sounds fair enough about the coding issue :)
Thank you Cole1080 for sharing this utility with us. It is small, but quick and efficient in doing what is expected from it. I also voted for you.

Nissa_Red:
Thanks for your comments, I know it may be a hassle for some to download the .NET framework, but I code in C#, not C++ which needs the .NET framework. You could ask me why I don't do it in C++, then I would just reply, because I don't know how :P
C# is what I know :)

Ko-Gar, check your browser settings. The file is an .exe, and, apparently, your browser is attempting to run it by default rather than save it by default. No problems downloading it with Mozilla (1.5)

Please don't get me wrong, as I appreciate any kind of tools that make our job as builders easier, but why do some people (you are not the only one) insist on having us to download a component (.NET) that is mostly only useful for "advanced" developpements ?
All Windows (98/NT/XP) platforms come in standard with a nifty ActiveX API useable through IE. Isn't it sufficient for what seems to me to be a "Open Textfile - Read File - Insert Line - Write Line - Close Textfile" program ?
Just a question...

Um...Check the DL settings. The program seems to be running right from the DL Link...Ooppss...
