This Droplet is intended for use with Adobe Photoshop 7 (don't know if works with previous versions). It will create the 5 standard NWN Portrait images, and it will prompt you to save them in the default destination folder c:\neverwinternights\nwn\portraits. You can choose to rename and save them where you want. I suggest to use a 256x400 pixel root image to avoid stretching. Usage: drag your image icon on the droplet icon. Photoshop will open and perform the actions. Hope to save you a bunch of minutes!
I'm having difficulty with this sentence:
Usage: drag your image icon on the droplet icon.
I assume the image icon is the icon that appears in the download manager box, but what is a "droplet icon" _________________________ Does this armor make my butt look big?

This has saved me a ton of time, when making custom
portraits by the dozens. Well done.

This is a useful tool and as I am a Photoshop
professional, I would rather use it over the one in the
game -- simply based on the fact I have Photoshop running
almost all the time.
Plus, Photoshop on an AMD processor machine runs
approximately 33 percent faster than the same processor
speed on a Pentium 4.
Anyway...in reference to the comments regarding auto
portrait making -- I prefer to make each portrait a
different crop of the overall image. This gives variety.
Yes, this tool is good if you want all your images to look
exactly the same.

Easy, Simply save the picture you want in the Portrait
Folder as a JPG file. Then start the game.
When the game menu loads (New, Load, Multiplayer ect) hit
the ~ (tiddle) key. This puts you in the console. Type Conv
and hit tab or type the full word ConvertPortrait (Case
sensitive) Then type the Name of your JPG file WITHOUT the
JPG extension. OS it would look like this
ConvertPortrait FileName
Then hit enter, If you spelled everything right and the
picture is there you will get a message something
like "Portrait Created, Proceed to Character Creation"
Your new portrait will be at the bottom of the list.
Note: For best results it is good to Save the file close to
the right shape. Taller than it is wide.

Notto sound dumb, but what portrait builder built into the
game?

Why don't anyone just use the portrait builder built into
the game? I have used it a couple of times and it seems to
work just fine.
