Hmm this is interesting,

I was just wondering if this type of system could be used in server portals to where both servers could share the ServerVault file. In place of creating a FTP file share.. Anyways just a thought and yes i understand what this does. But just wondering if possable to setup a system of fileshare through this system.; I mean without putting our servers in local vault mode.. Or maybe creating a new type of lancement through internet for people who want to connect there modules and use the same servervault. Just a question thats all.. i Guess ill DL this and see what i can do.....

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 6 that made this score of 10.00 then rounded to 10.

Oh, and it does have an installer now.

I have update this to include a variety of server tools I've made. The client program includes both a server querier and a unarchiving/archiving manager. The server program allows the unarchiving/archiving manager to work from any PC on your network, or via the internet.

Thank you very much, I've always wanted a program to clear out the people that have stopped playing on the PW, this way the character files can be archived until (if) they return.

I will soon be releasing another tool that lets server admins archive or unarchive characters through a nice GUI without having to be on the server (e.g. you can run the DM client and the unarchiving manager on one PC and nwserver and the unarchiving server on another). You run the server program on the server, and the client on any PC on that network. This is also Windows only. At the moment I'm just finishing off the bug testing and adding some INI options.

This is my Server Vault Archiving Tool for Windows. At the moment, this is only a beta. As such it does not have an installer, although it should work fine on any system with Windows XP or Visual Basic 6.0 . Please post here if this is not the case.

This program is designed to be run on startup, so put a link in your Startup folder. It checks through all of the servervault (path specified in the INI file attached) for characters that have not be altered in the last X days (X being also specified in the INI file). It will either delete them or archive them, depending on what you put in the INI file, and if you choose, it will right a log of what characters have been archived/deleted.

Anyway, please post any constructive comments. :)
