NWNStatus is a program that runs on a Windows web server (Apache or Microsoft IIS) that lets you check the current status of a Neverwinter Nights game server through your web browser. For example, you can put a link on a web page that shows the status of your NWN server � whether it's running, how many people are playing, which module is running, etc. Note: This version of NWNStatus works with version 1.32 or later of Neverwinter Nights. It does not display the list of players on the server. For more information, download it and read the readme. Version 1.0.1
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 5 that made this score of 9.40 then rounded to 9.

Great job!!! I had about given up on a server status page after the 1.32 patch "fixed" the possible exploit. I just loaded this up on one of my webservers and pointed it to my test 1.61 server and voila! A nice status page for my players to go look at.

Well, I changed the IIS permissions from Scripts Only to Scripts and Executables, and I got a "The specified module cannot be found" error. Although that only happened once and now I'm back to "Page not Found". Internal Server Error 500. Any help?

All I get is a "Page not found" error. I put the two files in my Inetpub/Scripts directory (Running IIS 5.1 on WinXP). Any ideas to get it working?

I've fixed NWNStatus to work with 1.32, but it no longer works with older versions of NWN. Also, it can't show the list of players on the server (but I may be able to fix that eventually).

Typical, after every update made by Bioware for neverwinter nights something stops working.

Yes, I know that it doesn't work with 1.32. I spent a bit of time investigating and I found that the server status queries work differently now, but I don't know exactly how. I hope to have a fix for this soon, but I can't promise. :(

Tested with IIS on Windows 2000 Server, works fine. You
have to make sure "scripts and executes" permissions are on
first. I use mainly php scripts, but this works just fine
as well. Any idea whether this has the same 16
character/players limit bug that the php counterpart has?

I've uploaded version 1.0, which is the final version (for
now anyway).
The only obvious change in 1.0 is there's an option to
format the output without using a table.
NWNStatus has now been tested on Apache 2.0 and Microsoft
IIS 5.1 web servers. It'll probably work on other versions
of IIS and Apache (Windows only though).

Sorry, this will NOT work under Linux. It's a Windows DLL,
using an API designed for Microsoft IIS but also supported
by Apache but on Windows only.
Papillon has made a PHP script that does basically the
same thing. Search for it here on NWVault.

Updated to report more info (including a list of players),
display the output as a table, and use an optional
stylesheet to change the appearance (for example the white-
on-black in the screenshot is from a stylesheet).

NWNStatus has only been tested under the Apache 2.0 web
server. If anyone tries it with Microsoft IIS or Apache
1.3, I'd appreciate it if you leave a comment here telling
me how it works. (It *should* work with those web servers.)
