NwnNssComp is a standalone NWScript compiler and decompiler for Bioware's Neverwinter Nights game. It allows module developers to quickly recompile all their scripts.
Unless I am missing something, this is NOT A STAND-ALONE application. It is looking for NWN, which is pretty much the opposite of stand-alone. It seems to have a dependancy on the core code, which is fine and everything, it is just the description could be a little more specific and accurate: it should either detail its dependancy and not use the term "stand alone" or it should package its dependencies so that it truly can be (at least that is how I have always seen things done).
If I am using this incorrectly (I am on a non-NWN box), someone please educate me. _________________________
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 5 that made this score of 8.80 then rounded to 9.

Ok, I may be misunderstanding this stand alone compiler. Everytime I try to use it it's erroring out because it can't find my NWN install?

Would this have any issues compiling scripts for SoU made modules?

Definitely useful. With HCR, ATS, Memetics... the script count can grow fast. My base script count with no customizations is up in the 1200 range. And especially with AI related scripts it's nice to be able to compile at a more granular level. And it's so FAST.
Between this compiler and modpacker (shameless plug for my own utility ;) ), my module turn-around time has improved significantly. 30 seconds to completely recompile and repack my module.

By far the most time saving piece of software I have for
this game. With a mod of over 2,000+ scripts I need the
level of detail this compiler offers. Very nice!
