A tutorial PDF document describing how to implement a pack animal for NWN. Contains the tutorial PDF and an example module file to test out the final output of the tutorial. This is a new version that fixes the important destroy bug, and another minor bug that was also found. With this release, the project is felt to be fully ready for online use in persistant worlds.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 10 that made this score of 8.60 then rounded to 9.

Aesklepius, have you tried making your henchmen and pack animals being in the same faction or even making sure that there factions are friendly toward's each other.
This tutorial looks interesting, definatly one of a selcet few that i will be downloading. It would be interesting to see if I can make pack animals sellable/tradable from/to merchant's and PC's. Hav'nt looked at the tutorial yet, maybe a how to is in there?

Good work. I have successfully placed the critter in
several modules, and they work well. I have a problem with
factioning the critter though. He is fine with everyone
until just after a fight. Then, for whatever reason, the
henchmen kill him. Any thoughts on a solution?

Terrific tutorial! Thank you so much for doing all this
work. I can't truly test it to make sure it all works
together, unfortunately, because *none* of my merchants are
working anymore (when I click on the creature, the
conversation doesn't start.) In any case, thank you again (:
