forgot to mention.
if you arent running the server and dont like hacked characters, don't play on servers where people can edit their character files. Simple as that.
let hackers play with hackers, and normal people with other normal people.
just mod what you dont like, and let everyone on your server use it.

that should solve most of your hacking problems. If you dont want people to edit their chars dont let them use local chars. If yu want to be able to edit them yourself, as dm, for custom races and such, make the required 2da files or put them in some other way, and change the characters for the players.
if all else fails, script it so they can set their race and such in game.
problem solved
hacked characters arent a problem if all characters are stored server side, and if you know the players you can do something about it if they have a workaround. so dont post your server unless you want everybody including hackers in it.

You know, you say the only reason people play fair is cause they cant hack there character. Thus they complain about yours. Whatever, beleive what you want, some of us see no point in cheating, rather it takes all the fun away.

lol look at all the n00bs "people complain about hacking are just idiots who cant hack" lol or maybe just maybe they want to play the game.. normaly.. dont get me wrong i hack and not just on neverwinter on lots of online games. but i dont pretend to be good just because i can cheat and own some one whos playing fare. HACKING IS WRONG... its just so damn fun :D

Its great to have people who take the time to explain Leto to noobs, so the hacker part of the NWN system will grow. Its always great as cj says to be lvl10 and kill a lvl60 person. What ive found so far is, the people that are completely against hacking...They just cant hack themselfs so they call it stupid. Ive just been learning to hack my character, and I just do it so no one can random me, I admit I couldnt make good armor, but even if I could id my editing my character left and right. If you guys have something against hacking characters becuase either you just cant random them, or becuase you cant hack yourselfs..Keep your fat +blocked+ mouths shut...

i think its great to have hacks imagind beings lvl10 and beat a lvl60 in battle beating up groups of people at a time the you can own people + unlimited food great life almost all spells i see no prob as long as i can get hacked
