Utilities to pack and unpack ERF files on Posix systems (like Linux). Download the tarball and extract the README for compilation instructions. A GFF compiler and decompiler is also included. The compiler is still a little buggy, but mostly usable (see the README - strings with carriage returns aren't handled correctly yet). You can find links to some other handy tools, as well as a Makefile for building modules at the above website.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 3 that made this score of 10.00 then rounded to 10.

There seems to be a bug with bic compilation... But I probably won't have time to look into it in depth for a little while. Well, maybe tonight, but probably not until Sunday.
If you get a segfault, compile in debugging symbols and mail me the output of a stack trace, in case of gcc differences (I'm using 3.3.2). If you're using gcc 2.95 you may have to turn off the -O3 option in the Makefile; I believe there used to be an optimization bug of some kind in older gccs that may also cause problems but I'm not sure of the details.
Sorry again for the bugs. I just don't have much time to work on it, so I figured I'd update the source here so other people could fix bugs if I'm too slow for you. :) But I'll try to get it fixed before too long (that's what I say at work too, but my list is a mile long...).

And it's updated here?
I sent U an email with a bug in the bic-compilation.
Pls fix it if U can, it could be a cool server-side stuff.

The itp compiler works now. Yay.
Yes, I took a rather long break from NWN hacking...

Updated, new sources.
Removed stupid SDL dependency. Further work on gff compiler. No functionality changes to hak and unhak.

Download link for the tarball should be pointing to a static archive as soon as the vault updates. Sorry about the downtime.

Ooo, that's nice. Now, if there also would be an ITP editor for gtk2 or gnome...
