This unlocks all of the NPC voicesets for NWN, SoU and HotU. I have included a couple of fixes for some gender mixups by Bioware such as Ayala being listed when creating a male character or the Metal Golem when making a female one. Simply unzip the file and place it in your override folder and you'll be able to select the voices at character creation. *Updated to add female vampire (succubus) voice - 25 March, '04.
Everytime I try to extract it, it turns into a notepad file. What am I doing wrong?

well i really like being able to use all the voice sets, but recently i made a character that i decided couldn't have any other voice but Daelan Red Tiger's. Well, when i chose his voice set, the audible voice worked fine, but the accompanying text is mixed up with some female, instead of saying Are you afraid to face me, coward, the text reads something like "Are you afraid to face a girl?" , is there a way to fix this? i AM a girl, but i don't want my big strong meat shield to talk like one :) i thank you for any fixes you have to offer

Works great... it's just a shame it has to go into the override folder.

I have to download the file into a Floppy Disk, I am completly new to this so how can I transfer the file to my desktop and into the game? The dillema is that I only have internet on my laptop so I cannot download it directly to my desktop *sigh* it can make things so complicated. Step by step assistance is welcomed. Thanks

um just a question is it possible to get a npc voice that is 100% complete compared to the voices that only have a few sentences ie attack, battlecry, hello, goodbye etc?
I just updated again so that the file is contained in a compressed (zip) folder.
That should avoid any future problems like you experienced with a direct download.

if you change "Save as type:" from "Text Files" to "All Files" you will avoid my aforementioned issue of ".txt".

right-click and choose "save target as" instead. dump it in your nwn\override folder. make sure it's "soundset.2da" and not "soundset.2da.txt", that drove me nuts at first.

When I click on download I just get a big text file in the browser window.
I've done hakpaks before and they were always .zips that I'd unpack into the override or portraits folders, but never a text doc in a browser window.
Any idea how to make this work?
