This is a very small widget that I made in Visual Basic to help me point-buy ability scores. In the four days since I created it I've used it like 12 times, so I figure it might be useful for other people too.

Hey,
I just wanted to say I like this little gadjet. I myself always find myself messing about with the point-buy system and never being able to finally get it all right. This makes stuff a lot easier for me!

It's VB so it works under Windows. I have no clue whether or not Mac users can use it.
