Tileset Manager is a Microsoft Access based utility to edit Neverwinter Nights tileset files. It provides a nice GUI to edit the set and itp files themselves, and performs some batch operations on the mdl, wok, and texture files that go with a tileset. Features include: -Edit all aspects of a SET file -Generate and edit Tileset ITP files -An interface that lets you quickly sort and filter your tiles by all sorts of parameters to find the one you're looking for -Transfer groups and tiles between tilesets and have all the model files and textures automatically taken care of -Retexture single or multiple tiles and have new dummy textures created automatically and all the text-replacing done for you -Built in TLK lookup and BIF file extraction
REQUIRES MS ACCESS 2000+ AND THE NWNMDLCOMP UTILITY (ALSO AVAILABLE ON THE VAULT)

Hi Jim, from a reskinner perspective, I think this utility is still outstanding. with the recent fix to support for custom tilesets, it absolutely deserves a round of applauses and my vote. And it is also the only utility I know of which allows you to make batch changes to textures quickly and painlessly. Keep supporting it. There are still a couple of bugs e.g. the undo function doesn't always work or the manager occasionally refuses the changes. _________________________ -------------------------------------------

I've just posted a rather significant update that corrected an error in the import process that prevented a lot of popular tilesets from importing correctly (the previous version didn't allow for the use of UnlocalizedNames in Terrain, which made anything that used Wayland's Hills refuse to import), as well as a few more minor issues. The whole import process is quite a bit more robust now overall, and I'd recommend you get the latest version (0.83).
Gaietta, thanks for figuring out that error you encountered - I'm not sure I would have been able to solve that one myself.

This is a wonderfully compiled reference for those not familiar or even somewhat familiar with the toolset. I find it invaluable very useful. Thank you for this reference.

The editor is wonderful! Very well organized and complete. A quick note: I'm using WINDOWS 2000 with Access 2000. When I started the editor I had a lot of errors from Access about very basic string functions (Right, Left, Trim, etc.). By inspecting the code I found the problem: it has nothing to do with the application, but it's related to Access itself. The DB uses MDAC library from an updated version that is the DEFAULT coming with Windows XP. If you have Windows 2K or older versions you probably need to download the updated library from Microsoft. Just search for MDAC 2.8, download it and restart the system. Everything will work then. Do it, it worths the work!!!
PS. Sorry for my english, but I'm ITalian :)
