Now Nwn2 compatible !
An editor for 2da, tlk, gff and nwn1-erf files written in Java ( source included ). REQUIRES Java 5 JRE or newer .
Run TlkEdit2.exe to edit Nwn2 files and TlkEdit.exe for Nwn1. Do not edit Nwn2 files in Nwn1 mode and vice versa as this will result in broken tlk and gff files.
Also includes the 2da patcher which allows you to create patches for easily adding lines to both 2da files and dialog.tlk. 2 Demo patches included : DwarvenDefender for non HotU users and dlpcpakv01 by Garad Moonbeam ( dragonlance races ) ) for use with the CODI Character Creator.
Features :
copy/paste between different TLK, GFF or 2DA files
search & replace ( with regular expressions ) in TLK, GFF and 2DA files
undo/redo in TLK, GFF & 2DA editors
spell checking in TLK and GFF editors (dictionaries must be downloaded separately)
open & edit supported files directly from an ERF file
Latest version, requires Java 5, run TlkEdit2.exe for Nwn2 file support
New in this version :
-copy & paste StrRefs from Tlk editor into the 2da editor
-spells.2da editor fixed for nwn2
I've followed all instructions, and I cannot insert my race into the game. It refuses to allow me to add my custon race. I've followed all the instructions via the Dryad race editor tutorial, but I created my own unique race. It's not doing ANYTHING! It's not allowing me to do SQUAT! The .hak file's in the .hak folder, the .tlk file's in the .tlk folder... yet I cannot add the race to the game... the copy of the .tlk is ALSO in the NWN2 directory, renamed to , yet nothing's doing what it's SUPPOSED to do. I just want to play as my race IN THE ACTUAL campaign, but I can't get it to work... W...T...F...

Posted this under the NWN2 entry, but then noticed you directed comments here: Doesn't seem to support NWN2 .pfb files -- they're gff's too. _________________________ Thought thinks itself.

I get this exception when I try to launch the editor. Its perhaps because I use java 6 ? Any Idea ?
