This is the final inventory for Release 1 of the PLACEABLES portion of the CEP. Notes: 1) This inventory is for the CEPplace.hak only. If you see an 'X' beside an item, it means it is being considered for another CEP hak. It does not mean it will not be included in the CEP, just not this particular inventory. 2) Some popular items are currently marked 'N' because they do not meet technical standards. If you are interested in updating a model you really like to make it compliant, please let me know. Unfortunately, the CEP team does not have time to do them all ourselves. 3) If you find your hak here and do not want it in the CEP, please e-mail me.
LazyB: No, that is not a typo. Many of the tilesets included nice placeable content. We culled the placeable models from these for inclusion in this hak. We did not include the tilesets themselves - at least in this go 'round.

No offense to the CEP team, but most of the stuff in there I see that I like is marked N, such as most of Lisa's material, the toture pack, etc. Perhaps the guidelines ought to be relaxes a little..

Several tilesets are marked as included on this inventory list; is this a typo?
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 1 that made this score of 10 then rounded to 10.

That's good to know. Was on the verge of dropping it because it is a very high poly model and bends the CEP limits. Beautiful but the price sounds too high.

warning with one of your placeables- since SoU I've found that Jeff Barrow's hearse crashes the game... looks great in the toolset but won't load.

Note to self: don't use angle brackets to enclose feedback. NWVault eats them and their contents for lunch.
Re:
2) the TCC-interior tilesets pak has a handfull of great placeables by velmar and a pretty good shelf I did
Eligio: I'll take a look at it.
3) the dladventures sewer set has some usefull stuff
Eligio: DLA's content will stand on its own. They are requesting that people don't break their haks up into pieces and we are respecting that.
4) icechild's and sud___'s module hak (starts with a d) has quite a few originals not found elsewhere
Eligio: I dl'd this but the authors do not attribute much of the material in the hak to its source. I can look more closely at the handful of 'rwc_*.mdl' items because that is Ice Child's naming standard but will not be including the rest.

Generally: Wow! Feedback. Sure beats the cone of silence on creatures and anatomy.

Just curious why placeable doors isn't in. They aren't meant to be usable, but instead to be placed where you don't want to have to deal with setting up a door with a transition and having to put in a message about the door being barred from the other side.

Re: and i can't understand why "Combo Placeables Large Statues Placeables by Velmar " that is like my Statue pack is valid...
I am a little surprised but it is your choice
------------
It probably isn't much consolation but we removed Velmar's after this was put out as well. :-(
It is correct that the CEP is not dependent on SoU. I don't know that the ability to do statues is dependent upon SoU but I could be wrong. Does anybody know if the new flesh-to-stone effect is restricted to SoU or if the ability to do this was part of v1.32?
Regardless, in retrospect it is true that SoU can't quite do larger than life-size statues - only normal sized ones. I am concerned that poly count on many of the statues I have seen is too high (the limit is 1500 and that is for a full-tile sized placeable, not a small statue).
Being a draft inventory, we can go back and look again.

"Magic Mouth" is marked as not being "thematic". This is not correct; magic mouth is one of the 3e D&D spells, and the imagery used in the .hak is exactly correct. Thus the Magic Mouth placeable is indeed properly thematic.

just a little word about the comment on my pack "Not really needed with SoU's statues" .. i can say that a lot of people use stock nwn and plan to buy HotU and never buy SoU... i hope that all CEP hackpack will take the compatibility with stock nwn in consideration as i never read in CEP documentation that SoU will be required ....
