As a module builder, you can make use of the CEP content to greatly expand the resources you can use to tell your stories, to captivate your players, and to wow your audience. It is easy to install and the new content is right at your fingertips. Tried, tested and true. If you have been overwhelmed by the idea of learning how to merge hak paks, the CEP is for you.
This download includes two PDF documents which includes how to use the CEP in your modules as well as standards guide if you want to create content for future versions.
I am a latecomer to building, but I have enjoyed the CEP for years. What an amazing community we have here. Truly incredible. As a builder I am enjoying the features offered by the CEP team so much, that I have not played in days, choosing instead to build my new NWN1 mod. Sure, NWN2 is out, I play that too, but the years of development by the CEP team is stil greatly appreciated. And because of it, NWN1 continues to grow, even as some players leave in favor of NWN2.

Hello
I love the CEP and the Builders Guide. Me and few friends are working hard to put together a small knit PW atm using the CEP as the core.
One small problem ive run into (this is with CEP 1.50) with the last few robe models, the tabards, such as the studded tabard, the chainmail tabard etc, they seem to show on all modules bar humans and dwarves. Is there is a known problem or something that is wrong my end?
thanks

Well, the encounters work fine for me. I even tested it with the giant crab creatures and everything works ok.
Without knowing exactly what you are doing or how you set up your encounters, it's impossible to help you with your problem really.
There is one very common mistake that beginners make when creating encounters however, and this may be your problem (though I doubt it since you got the rats encounter to work):
The 'faction' of an encounter must be set to something hostile to the PCs or the encounter won't fire.

Thank you to the CEP team for all there hard work, this is truly impressive. I will definately include your content in my small modules. I hope there is more to come from you folks, thank you for the big work you have done in an attempt to standardize things.

I have a very good question. Anyone figure out how the traps are supposed to be set up. I've tried and feel like slitting my wrists in frustration! I can't play the demo mod because I'm not updated with the latest patch, just 1.61. The readme in the scripts section isn't helpful either, it reads like greek. I know I have to set the Tag but it talks about placing a placeable...a.k rug, bouldar (oh ya, real helpful!!!) Could someone maybe post, step by step how you set them up. It also mentioned that the triggers foir the traps are in the Pallette, couldn't find'em! Please, can someone help me?

Tamos:
No, all new PC created in your mod will be able to choose portraits from the hak.

Hi everyone,
I have this problem too, but, strangely, ONLY for crabs, and even for creatures with crab appearance. I tried encounters with Vegepigmies, Brownies, Animated Tomes, no problem. I don't know if it happens with other creatures.
Other little problem, easy to fix I think: try to give a dagger to a hooded shade... There seems to be a little weapon scaling problem!
Other than that, CEP is great!
Long live CEP team!

1st things 1st. This CEP is great, no doubt about it.
I'm having a little trouble with encounters. I am a little new to this but i cannot make an encounter with the new creatures (trying to do crabs). I thought i was doing it wrong but the same settup with rats work. Can we not do encounters with new creatures? Do we have to place them on the map? I even tried creating a new crab instead of the CEP already made version but still no work.
I have checked the builders download and checked all 239pages, good detail, but i couldnt find the solution. If i have to place on map i have to but if theres a way to place encounters i would appretiate if someone could tell me?
Link corrected. Thanks :)[email protected]
