Hi there,
will there be an update for 1.69 and will there be some documentation for those not so informed about 2das and such? Also how can I use my own scripted spell/spell like abilities/icons/etc?
Cheers...

Yes, I am aware of this bug and it's fixed.

I am planning/trying to upload RC1 build 33 today, which includes support for NWN2, 1.03.

Next version will most likely be more 'wizardish'... when it's released, I do not know... me and my friend, who's doing layout and such for me, are busy with other projects...

Ville_Alasaari,

I'm answering late as well, I thought you'd never update. ;)

I'm already doing most of my Prestige Classes by hand. But I tried your little program anyway.

The class 2da tool works fine. (But I've already done all my classes 2da.):P

What I was looking forward to was its editor on Bonus feat 2da and skills 2da. Since it takes forever to do them by hand. However they don't work. :( Nothing happens when I click on them?

Are they suppose to work or not since it's the beta? Honestly it would help big time if they did. Thanks for your contribution and I hope you will update. HINT HINT ;)

ZW.

Version 1.3.0, Beta 1 submitted.

Posted by Ville_Alasaari at 2006-10-21 09:00:58
I am planning to post next version (1.3) on this weekend or next weekend.
Currently it will only support NWN 1.

The NWN 2 support nearly done, but I am unable to test it before the game arrives...

Posted by Ville_Alasaari at 2006-09-23 09:16:11
Even this program is not updated recently, it should be compatible with latest NWN (today it is 1.68.8099).

(Bioware has not modified the required classes.2da file)

Posted by Ville_Alasaari at 2006-09-23 07:44:46
Hmm... Perhaps I am posting this a bit late, but...

ZW:
"Does this application work on all windows versions?"

"Forgot to ask it's compatible with 1.66?"

It should work on any 32bit Windows.
The program should not use any OS specific functions, etc.

Hmm.. If I manage to dig the old sources from somewhere, I'll try to update this...

(No promises, though. ;) )

Man, what's with the double posts?

Posted by Ville_Alasaari at 2004-10-05 10:00:00

I noticed (from received email), that I have missed one requirement type from this program and documentation.

I'll fix this when I have more free time.

1)
First create your prestige class(es) and save 2da files to some folder.
Then by using Bioware's nwhak program add those 2das to hakpak.
Save hakpak (For example: "prc2da.hak").
In Toolset, open your module and go to Module Properties->Custom Content and
add that hakpak to module.
Make sure that hakpaks are in this order:

cep1patch
cep2da
cepanatomy
cepbaseitem
cepcreature
cepplace
cepportrait
ceptexture
YOUR HAKPAK(S) HERE ("prc2da.hak")

Click OK and let toolset build your module.

2)
Hakpak which contains prestige class 2das ("prc2da.hak").

3)
Perhaps none...
But if you encounter problems then try copy those 2das.

Hope this helps.

Hey, I'm quite interested in this program, but have a few questions that aren't covered in the documentation.

1. If I'm using CEP, what do I need to do?
2. After complete what do players need to dload to make the classes work?
3. What files (if any) do I need in my servers dir to make it work.

Help is appreciated. Cheers

Posted by Ville_Alasaari at 2004-05-16 03:41:00
Lingering: Yes, just set the Class Index value over 210 (for PRC Pack v2.0 and CEP 1). You may need copy that 210. line from PrC Editor generated classes.2da and append it to PRC pack's classes.2da. Also add cls_pres_***.2da to it. (Only if you get any bad strrefs or other errors.)

24.8.xxx.x: I have finished how to add custom feats (passive feats only, at the moment). I try upload it to vault today.
