BUG FIXED! VERSIONS PRIOR TO THIS ONE WOULD NOT ALWAYS FIND ALL RESULTS!
It is highly recommended that you update. The fix requires this program to read more gamefiles, so it does unfortunately mean slightly longer load times on some NWN installations.
The BioWare Script Editor in the Aurora Toolset doesn't allow you to search through default BioWare scripts unless you open them first. The same is true for scripts in hakpaks.. You can search through your own scripts, but that's it.
This utility lets you search through the default BioWare scripts in your installation - including your patch files. By checking a box, it lets you search through all scripts in a hakpak instead.
The program is very easy to use, and comes with a readme file with information on the few things you may want to know before using the program.
The program is released under the GNU General Public License, which is included in the download. The download also includes the Delphi sourcecode for the program.
Version 2.0, including bugfixes and an option to search through hakpak scripts. Includes license information, readme instructions, and Delphi source code.

Despite a few drawbacks ... it's way more useful than not and I'ved used it ever since downloading it a few weeks back after a link on the NWN Scripting forums. Thanks for this tool. _________________________ The Savage Frontier and Surrounds - NWN PW based in the Forgotten Realms: Link

This is an excellent program. I've noticed, however, that it seems to be unable to find any of the new scripts released in 1.69. It can't find anything inside of any of the x3_**** scripts, for instance. It has still saved me huge amounts of time in my scripting, and I thank you for a wonderful job.

Same hear. It searches for a few seconds and halts with that error every time.

What a fantastic tool! Thank you so much for sharing this with the community. I have offen run into the problem of not being able to track down some core NWN source code. This just made that task much much easier.

Extremely useful tool for sorting the hundreds of Bioware scripts by category. A shame you can't filter out groups of scripts you aren't interested in using. _________________________ The road to Ravenloft is paved with good intentions.

This is an excellent, and very useful program. It saved me hours of work in the short few weeks I've used it over the time spent searching through haks and NWN scripts to find all the things I needed to update some personal projects.

Thanks for the suggestion, Jason, that sounds like a good idea.
Also, it appears there's a bug of sorts here. A user pointed out to me that the program didn't pick up a match from, I think it was, the feats include file. I'll look into it to see if I can figure out what's wrong. It may be obscure, I've never experienced this before, but then, knowing whether you get all the correct results is hard to be sure...
You know, I looked at this a while ago, but it wasn't clear to me what it did. Now that I know, I wish I'd downloaded it sooner.
My only nitpick is about the UI. Usually a progress bar is supposed to clear when the task is done. The first time I used this, I was waiting around for it to do what I assumed was the last liiiiiitle bit of work before it gave me the results. Turns out it had finished, and just hadn't found any matches. If you ever update this, I'd suggest clearing the progress bar, and indicating "no matches" somehow when none are found.
