Description

Some Edit/Highlighting Modes and Macro(s) for jEdit > V4.2pre1.
For:

2da / Highlighting
2DA-Tool:
- renumbers all or only the selected lines (variable start number)
- sets the column-width (with different modes)
txi / Highlighting (keywords)
set / Highlighting (keywords)
SET-Tool:
- renumbers all entries
- sets the Count=
- creates new entries
- navigate through the file
- lists all models ...
mdl, wok, dwk, pwk / Highlighting (keywords)
MDL-Tool:
- navigate through the file
- lists all nodes, emitters ...
- optimizing the file

nss (script) / Highlighting (keywords, functions, constants ...) + Edit-Mode

ms (MAXScript) simple Highlighting / Edit-Mode files.

Update MDL-Tools V1.4:
- fixed the "Optimize" function ... again :-)
+ added "----" Mode (don't Compress or Decompress)
+ no optimizations on "Decompress"

Update 2DA-Tool V1.0:
+ optimized "compress"-mode

Update V2.8:
+ Syntax highlighting for the new script-functions in patch V1.67

Update SET-Tool V3.0:
+ added "list by Name" function

Updates V3:
+ updated all GUIs
+ added "RegEx" to the MDL-Tool "Search and Replace"
- fixed the "Clean" function from the SET-Tool

Updates V3.1:
MDL-Tool V2.0:
+ added "All Buffers", to optimize all open "wok/mdl/pwk"-buffers
+ "Delete Comments" and "Round Color Values" now unenabled on "Decompress"

Updates V4:
MDL-Tool V3.0:
+ "list all" function

- reworked "undo /redo"
SET-Tool: V4.0:
+ "list all" function
+ "Delete Entry" function
+ goto Reference:
from TILE to GROUP or
from GROUP to first GROUP-Tile or
from GROUP-Tile (cursor position) to TILE

MDL-Tool V3.1:
- fixed "----" in single-buffer mode
- updated "undo" / "redo"
* some internal updates
SET-Tool V4.2:
+ "Copy Entry" function
+ "Clean" and "Renumber" jumps now back to the last cursor position
* some internal updates

Update V4.2:
2DA-Tool V1.2:
- fixed error with JSpinner if "Get Length" < 5
* reworked "undo /redo"

V4.3:
Update for NWN 1.68b Patch.

hmm. I'm opening set file, but when I trying to use macros, jEdit says "No SET-FILE in current buffer" =\ What I'm doing wrong?

Thank you for keeping this tool up to date! I keep a link on the CTP WebSite for quality tools. I use it quite regularly when doing work on 'set' files.

Great tool for a free Editor app.

Hey, playing around with these macros and modes. Stilgar this ROCKS! Thank you for sharing. It might me nice to do some documentation in English (I used a webpage translator). Most of it is intuitive if you have already been using notepad or some other editor.

When you only want to change the references, why don't you use "search and replace" from jEdit?
The SET-Tool only renumbers and adds new groups, tiles ...

Or can't you start the SET-Tool?
It's only a macro for jEdit, copy the macros-dir from the archive to your jEdit-dir, start "rescan macros" in the jEdit macro-menu and start the tool from the menu "macro/nwn/SET-Tool", that's all.

How it works man?there's no guide or help and i need tp change about 200 tileset references in the .set file.

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 2 that made this score of 9.00 then rounded to 9.
