LOL...the "swoosh thingy"...err...product of unfortunate cropping, but it didn't bother me that much. it's actually part of his robe that swoops around him. this portrait is part of a larger image with a party of adventurers i'm working on for a friend. he wanted one to be a monk,then i got a separate request for a monk....killed 2 birds with one stone. when its done, maybe he won't mind if a post the finished image in the artwork section.

Nyx, i just squished Willem's face a little in the vertical direction and exaggerated his "buggy" eyes. I'm glad you like the clothing i make...it's probably the part that is most fun for me to do.

Relsh You make some of the coolest & most interesting portraits I've ever seen!
I think its safe to say that you've mastered photoshop & portrait making. Great work, its always fun checking out your stuff.

How much did you change the face? I would not have recognized him at all. :) You always make the coolest clothing!

I think youre the first to make an old halfling monk :) I like it, though I wonder as well what that flying thingy is. I dont know why, but i could imagine this halfling and Apricane having a long conversation.. he looks so wise.. Thats like the biggest compliment you can get from me Relsh ;)

Now this I really like! I don't know what that swoopy thing is in front of him, but I like! Never would have picked Willem Dafoe as a halfling, but it's perfect (maybe *because* I would never have picked Willem Dafoe as a halfling). The colors are just cool, and I love the beaded mustache! I don't think I have any thing to complain about here... except... what the heck *is* that swoopy thing in front of him? ;-)
