Finally a natural-looking character with a straightforward look at you - and she is more convincing as a travelling adventurer who doesn't have make-up and a hairdresser in her backpack

One of my favorite female adventurer portraits. I'm not sure I see it as Imoen, but it's a great look for a character.

Strong, smart, and beautiful. This is definitely the Imoen of BG2. Far to mature and seasoned (look in her eyes!) for BG1, however.

Nice portrait. She looks older, but in a good way. My typical parties: Goody-Two Shoes Mage- Yoshimo (replaced by Imoen), Jahiera, Aerie, Nalia, me. Backstabbing Thief- Viconia, Edwin, Yoshimo (relplaced by Imoen), Korgan, me. I loved the Baldur's Gate games and I hope that the rumors about BG3 are true.

Wow, nice artwork! Its so rare to see people actually making homegrown portraits rather than mutating some photo into a disgusting mockery. Do you do commissions?

Although to be honest, I don't really think that looks much like Imoen. Imoen was supposed to be youthful and bouncy, but in that picture she looks like she's pressing 40! Maybe I'll consider using it for my motherly cleric character in Icewind Dale 2. :)

I have all the lady NPCs right her on the Vault. I'm tapped out at the moment doing Planescape stuff with the fine folks at CoDI., but let me know if your BG effort gets going. I may be able to lend a hand... uh, or a face.

Sporeboy!, these portraits of Imoen, Aerie and whoever the other one is have inspired me to try to make a GOOD version of BG2 in the NWN Toolset. Sadly, it may take a looong time to make. It is afterall a huge game. I was gonna make it before, but no portraits suited, so get cranking more BG portraits out Sporeboy! and I'll have an NWN BG2 copy out...

This replacement - portrait is realy cool. But i must tell the perfect party for me is : me as a paladin champion of justice :-), minsc, jaheria, yoshimo, aerie and anomen. They rock!

Well, if you had Viconia in your party, you got laid a LOT more than if you had Aerie, and I don't think you got Jaheria.

MY Ideal party was Minsc, Korgan, Edwin, Viconia, Yoshimo (then Imowen for story-hey, she could cast TIME STOP instantly) and myself as a monk.

Ultimately, there's not much difference whatever love interest you have in your party... except that Aerie's a little bit cuter than Jahiera...

I agree, but for me, it's Myself, Aerie, Minsc, Jahiera, Yoshimo and Jan. In my opinion, Valygar was a pillock, so I killed him and handed him into the Cowled Wizards. OK, It wasn't the 100% good guy thing to do, but I'd rather piss off one bloke than an entire order of deadly mages. But that's just me.
