desert fighter/rogue. this portrait continues the theme from aquatic elf and dwarven defender--let environment help define the nature of the character. mostly photoshop collage, but i hand painted some brush strokes and scanned them in to better represent the sandstorm. hope ya like.

It's good in that it sets a portrait in a specific locale (which is a rarity) but I, personally speaking, prefer portraits that focus more on facial character and expression. I understand that in order to represent the sandstorm detail had to be sacrificed, so this is a minor quibble on my part reflective of personal choice. All in all, it's remarkably well done.

I especially love the ambience with the sandstorm and camel. Well done! _________________________ Time Becomes a Loop - short, story-driven time travel mod!

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 10 that made this score of 7.89 then rounded to 8.

G'Windinel, thanks for your posts- both artists you mentioned to me are spectacular( the comparisons are a great compliment). i prefer Brom, but Achilleos is also sweet shite. But as inpiration, there is no definitive source. But i can't promise what you've revealed to me won't have significant influence in the future. I'm mainly an egon sheile fan(early 1900's). His distortion of the body is brillaint and the scource of all modern cartoons and anime as far as i'm concerned.) Check him out if you haven't seen his stuff already,--- its great to get intelligent comments such as yours. i'm kinda weak when it comes to fantasy art, so if you have any more nuggets of info, please share.

I've looked at this alot. I didn't post 'cos you are so good. (take this as you will).
I was curious, do you take any inspiration from Achilleos in your composition?

actually i'm an architect(almost-haven't taken my registration test yet) and this is just a hobby. but the two have many things in common and i've learned quite a few digital and conventional art tricks from school and the profession.
