Thanks for the compliments guys. I'll try to keep up the good work. As far as comments on perspective and paint-overs - yes it is a paint-over, so the complements on achieving the perspective aren't necessarily well-deserved in this instance - the photo provided the perspective. I do make a living as an illustrator though, so for those of you who gave me compliments on it, rest assured, I can draw perspective pretty well. Tiger-Thanks for all the reviews. I'll keep shooting to get that eagle!

something to consider about the bow angle. the arrow. that's presumably a hunting arrow (vertical blades) vs. humanoid target at Close range you'd hold the bow like that to bypass the ribs for a lung or heart shot. kinda careless to let those long locks of hair to cross over the bowstring though. what happens when she looses? :) nits aside, well executed painting.

Your artwork just gets better and better. I swore this one was an official bioware preview, by then I looked closer and in my opinion it's better. you have a lot of talent. keep up the good work. (the pant's do look kind of blue-jueanish, though the top is ok in my opinion. it's just mithril chainmail, that's all...

OH NO! The sanctity of a video game website has been defiled by a "paint-over"! wouldn't want anyone to get praise they haven't earned, would we? Get over yourself, julia.

Aside from the odd way she is holding the bow, very good portrait. Great art.

I love this. The perspective you have is not an easy thing to pull off. You need to check the mechanics of using a bow though.
