Lady of the sea, could be an Aquatic Elf, or perhaps another fantasy creature of the sea. Photo-collage base: Holly Valance, lying on the beach, was quite useful for this picture. I added several layers of textures, sea-life, plants, and water. Input on how to improve is always welcome.
Thanks everyone for your comments.
Black_feather: I usually take four or five hours to make a piece, then my eyes start rolling and throbbing from watching the screen too long, and I take another hour much much later to change some little things.
How long does it take to do one of these? I love how some come out so painted like an oil painting. Your attention to detail is beautiful.
and to the useful comment? Come on! She's just creating what she sees. It's up to us to come up with what to do with it.

I don't care how useful it is, it's beautiful! Everything pulled together really well in this one. The only minor, minor thing I can see is that she appears to have sand on her, and if she were underwater, she would be washed clean. :) This is one of my new faves, though!
Nah, it's a good portrait, really...just...how many mermaid PC's are there?
Could be great for a module with some underwater action (like in Shadows over Riva, for those of you who remember that)
