requested 2nd version. posted it cause i think it can be used for a variety of class types (but i plan to use it as a Thay wizard). SOURCES: pretty much same as before, but much less of it. heavier use of texture overlays. i tried to 'raise the bar' on this one-so comments and (more importantly) critiques are greatly appreciated.
Absolutely spectacular! This is one of my absolute favorite character portraits ever! It represents a rather mysterious figure that could be suitable for a number of class types. Your portraits are a must for any NWN player.

Beautiful work. Good Male portraits are so hard to find.

Oh, how gorgeous! He'd make the perfect ranger/mage...he doesn't even need a sword to look the aforementioned stereotype. Oh, please let me know when the female is done. I'm so tired of using that same pretty asian elf from the original NWN portraits for my human sorceress...not that its all that bad mind you, I just wish I was given more choices...

Very compelling. The best bits have already been mentioned except the use of focus. Very effective. Although I feel that the effect that you were after with the perspective by losing colour on the garment down the arms has failed slightly because of the strong light under his right armpit as gyrfalconthegray said. (Or is it reflected light?) Errr....nice work dude.
