OK, back to the hot chicks for a bit. ;) I wanted to do something relating to the new prestige classes, so here is a Shifter. I made her a fairly high level caster, as she has the ability to change to Dire Tiger form. This is part photomanip, part paint. I started with a photo here: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/5725979/ but pretty much changed everything about it except for the general features. Tiger fur added from stock photos, background a picture of the rug in my dining room. ;) The rest is PSP8. I will have a version also without the tiger stripes, if the Vault would like. Thanks Relsh. I've been working some more on this... I will post an update when I've worked more of the kinks out (it *is* a tad blurry, and there are some other details I'm fixing). I also want to get the non-stripey version up--though I think I will shoot for a more "traditional" fantasy look. I realize that the clothing I have chosen for her makes her look a little more modern than most people might prefer for NWN.
i like this alot....and agree with many of the compliments already bestowed upon this portrait. overall, though, it could be a bit more crisp (this is extreme nitpicking, but that's really all one can do to improve a portrait of this quality). the body is spot on, but the face (particularly the jaw) seems a bit too soft at larger sizes (and even at the smaller sizes). anyway. keep up the exceptional work.

Thanks for the comments so far. Normally I wouldn't reply this early, but I wanted to remark on something that Ananna said in the voting comments. She (or he) felt that because this picture used some photos it wasn't as compelling (artistically) as if it had been painted, perhaps feeling that using photos makes it easy.
If you go to the link for the original photo, I pretty much just used the face and form as a guideline. Since the lighting in the original was flash photography (which is the most horrible thing you can do to capture a portrait) I had to repaint the face from scratch. The choice of lighting, coloring, costume, integration of background elements, hairstyle is entirely hand painted. I suppose I'm getting a bit feisty about the whole thing, but I strongly disagree that it takes any less skill to paint a picture like this as opposed to any other sort.
